I do too. And I don't understand why you think it is unethical to strip off the url params. I feel like it is unethical on the companies part instead to abuse the tech illiteracy among general populace.
Since the rules are known, the threshold has increased so much that people don't see any issue when leetcode hard questions are common place.
I have seen multiple instances where the interview questions are ridiculous by any sane terms. It incentivizes gaming the system by just getting good at algorithms and not building up other skills.
Just as an example, look at Google as a new user (without any brand context). The design is terrible, the product management is terrible, the hideous search bar everytime you open the android home screen, etc. all in my opinion caused by optimizing for one attribute in 99% of the hires. It causes them to think "oh well the data says people don't mind the change", but you can't track the growing discontent of the customer base. And you are a monopoly so don't have to give a shit about UX anyways.
I realized that everyone needs a base level of algorithms knowledge to write and design good software. Ideally it is pretty basic (leetcode easy), but the initial employees at FAANG companies decided to have a hazing ritual by creating increasingly complicated questions (e.g. leetcode hard) and it is exacerbated by a large number of kids from universities who mindlessly play this game. It spread to all other tech companies too and the process is just destructive.
I don't see an end to this. Its as if all companies expect people to be competitive programmers, and they optimize only on one parameter :/
You could try experimenting with Guix. If you take the time to set it up and if it works for your needs, you can just use the config file to get the same installation on every device.
True, I have spoken to a lot of people and there seems to have been a lot of political propaganda in every Netflix / Hollywood movie / show / even music videos. I am so tired of the ideology shoved down the throat that I stopped watching anything these days. I just want a good story.
I fear it will get worse because of the vertical integration and monopoly of the entertainment business, they can keep making bad movies and people will keep watching them because there's no other choice, in turn increasing the monopoly.
It just bothers me that they try to include a few tropes in every movie or show without it fitting in the story properly. As I said, if they maintain the logical consistency and in the context of a good story I don't mind some political push. But if it is in every show/movie, it just becomes repulsive.
They started going downhill with every original show losing logical consistency after the 1st or 2nd season, political pandering instead of offering good quality entertainment. And the removal of the user reviews was a degrade, as they want to push bad shows to users and waste their time, instead of letting them make an informed choice. I hope they get disrupted because of their arrogance.

To really focus, you should consciously block yourself from trying to learn anything else in those 2 weeks.
I am inexperienced but I'd say learn one skill properly for 2 weeks intensively (like Javascript foundations and React). And find a job at a small company. You might have to move as well. After you payoff the debt, you can switch to a different job.
I just use a tp link router off the shelf and install openwrt on it. I haven't yet seen any routers that come with openwrt by default.
P.S. Never buy a ubiquiti devices router if you want to use openwrt.
Large scale cheap desalination. I was born in a dry area which had so less water that no crops would grow and the water was rationed. It absolutely sickens me that our "blue" planet has so less drinking water. I am still thinking about solutions but unfortunately that isn't my main focus right now until I can sustain myself.

Just wanted to present an observation that Deutsche Welle (DW) has an extremely biased opinion of India and presents only the bad and sensationalized articles about things in India. As an Indian living in Germany, I have seen firsthand how misrepresented India is in foreign publications.
Although, I don't doubt the article, I would suggest you take the article with a pinch of salt. Yes, there are problems in some parts in India, but the foreign media portray it like people are running around killing and raping people, which is definitely not the case.
It might have to do with the SEC? announcing XLM is not a security but things are not clear regarding XRP yet.
