I was in a EU prison. I have seen 5 years pretrial detentions with one guy. There is no rule of law.

Me, they put for a month into solitary confinement under 24/7 video surveillance when I demanded to speak to the US embassy, since they did not believe me that I am a US citizen.

Thats hard and depends where the money is, it may even be abroad. My US bank did not even reply to inquires from my lawyer in Europe.

I am recovering too. Soon, I got to war.

For a teen it shows some balls. But he basically would have would have gotten trouble in most jurisdictions with this name.

You could not run an auction site as ibay.com

But you could still use the string in another context. e.g. eBayern

(Bayern=Bavaria)

I never installed it on Android. I use it only on my computer. But I use it also a lot as an organizer since it is so flexible. Has also my ID scans, Degree scans etc.

Sombody posted suckless.org recently and this is how I found this guy. Probably not interesting for most users here but I found him interesting.

PS: "Harmful software is usually referenced to as software that is bloated or too complex in design. Such software has been known to cause suffering to lots of people, including the death of Uriel. Examples of harmful software are the things listed in picture.

Harmful software has remained a controversial topic on /g/, where people usually care about powerful and advanced software more than simplicity. The fact that GPL is listed as harmful has made many freedomfags butthurt."

LOL

Difficult to explain. As far as I remember it always showed the CN subtitles and you could with your mouse always see the translation and the meaning of the single characters.

viki and iq are around 5 USD a months so it could still be worth it.

This plug in is supposed to work well with Netflix: https://www.languagereactor.com/

Netflix is 12 USD or something. I am just out of prison and I have zero money and currently this is out of my reach. But it may work well for you.

BTW, try this movie: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt7180392/

For a file manager I would just use mc and it is available on most servers. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Midnight_Commander

It rarely makes sense to install another app, especially if it is proprietary. Just checked out termius.com a ssh manager. With a monthly subscription? 10 USD a month, a steal!

I just use sshpass now via C&P.

I am not a lawyer.

"If i travel to the eu as an American does that mean it’s illegal to track me while present in their territory?"

Yes.

"Would I be able to sue them"

You can sue any time but only makes sense if meta does something illegal.

"and which country would be most favorable for the largest payout if so?"

If Meta breaks the EU law you would likely have to sue in the country were you were present. Could also be that you have to sue Meta in an EU country were they have an office. (Ireland? Luxembourg? Dunno).

"I’m happy to write their support team an email letting them know my intentions to travel (lol)."

This is a great idea, unfortunately there are no punitive damages in most EU countries. Your payment would be tiny.

Trust me, I could not care less about the German boneheads. But you are right, as always, the judge has little understanding how tracking works.

I have a heavily modified web surfing browser that offers me some amount of privacy and ad free experience. Pay walls I circumvent with "Pass paywalls clean" or with a bookmarklet that looks up the site on an archive.

In the end, it makes it harder for an average website to track me but not impossible. Dont believe me? Try this website:

By the way, ghostery, the ad blocking software, is (was?) owned by a German media company. Hubert Burda Media. You can't make this stuff up. And no, you should not use it.

Yes you can buy drugs in prison freely. You can even buy cell phones but they have devices to detect cell phones in your cell.

Who brings them in? Possibly guards but visitors can also bring in a lot. Pretrial detention is tougher. The drugs are brought into prison and then smuggled into pretrial detention.

The hands of the idiot judge who run the prison were shaking when the letter of the embassy arrived. Unfortunately the US embassy did not want to send a note of protest, because I am a dual citizen.

"There is an international treaty (Vienna Convention) that requires governments to inform arrestees of their right to speak to their embassy. The problem is that treaty violations aren't really enforceable without an underlying local statute to implement them."

Well, a diplomatic protest note from the US embassy would have worked wonders to the careers of the people involved in this clusterfuck.

Well, yes, I was in trouble because I was in prison already and my public defender did not pick up his phone for 6 months. In this situation, I said I am a US citizen and demanded to talk to my embassy. And after I insisted on this for two or three weeks, I was put into solitary confinement.

Even talked to one of the highest person in charge. Can you proof that you are a US citizen? Let me call my embassy. They did not allow this. I suggested they call the embassy but they rejected this.

I even wrote to my judge a complain and he said there "is no reason for this". I have it in writing.

As an American, who has spent time in a prison in Europe/Germany and was put in solitary confinement under 24/7 monitor supervision, I tend to disagree. The reason why I was put there: I claimed to be a US citizen and wanted to talk to my embassy. Since I don't know US prison, take my opinion with a grain of salt. But fuck Europe!

This is comparably young, that is GOOD.

Some people here in the thread are suspecting mental issues. Please take this very seriously even if you think you are fine. Please consider getting medical help.

The citizenship issues are not clear. I thought that he is American, Canadian or something and is trying to get Italian citizenship due to family ties.

Did you speak to an embassy? This was an odd question from him.

Working without a home is very difficult. Also, your expenses are much higher. (Can't cook at home etc.)

Dude, I am in a similar situation but I know how to get back to my feed.

Big question: How old are you? This makes a big difference.

Is that what I should do... emigrate back where I came from?

No, but you should write down ALL options that you have. Italian citizenship is not bad, it would allow you to work in all EU countries. Also, this can be a 2 year gig. Gets you back on your feet, that's it.

Were you born in the US? Based on your post I am not 100% sure. Also, you don't specify what kind of degrees you have. IT?

Teaching English in China would also be an option.

PS: Travis, is this you?

You a right here, this may allow the case to be called extreme. But I am not sure he deserves the death penalty.

Extreme outliers are often used to justify extreme measures. The question is, should they? In an EU country we had just a murder case, a teen was murders by two girls, aged 13 and 12. Since this is below of the age of criminal responsibility for the country, where they were committed, people argued the age for criminal responsibility should be lowered to 12 or even below. Are extreme outliers a good basis for this? And if age of criminal responsibility is lowered to 12 or 10, should not the "age of consent" be lowered to 12 or 10 too?
