Kind of a miserable book to reread a lot. The author killed himself, the one person I know of who figured it all out also killed himself
Thank you!

They can absolutely do for it if they charge the public the cost of GPU time.

Russian aggression will likely end when the Russian populace gets fed up with their psycho leader. That is a lot less likely to happen if they get cut off from the Internet.
In fact, during the Cold War, the US policy was to try to connect the USSR to the world to force regime change - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radio_Free_Europe/Radio_Libert...

YMMV, but this worked for me. Find an industry you want to work in. Find a small but quickly growing company in that industry. Email the CEO, try to make yourself look as relevant as you can to that company and ask to get coffee. Come prepared with a pitch of what you can do for them.
If you reach out to CEOs directly, you skip HR, so you skip profile screens. Reaching out to medium-large company CEOs doesn't work because they have assistants/are too busy.
Why not write on Substack? I'd love a comments section for your newsletter.
Tesla surges by over $100B on a $4B (revenue) deal, likely at very low margins. Memes galore.
Substack is driving a blog renaissance. A ton of high-quality niche blogs popping up everywhere.

I am a big fan of IBKR, but if you want someone who will be there in the morning... Pick someone bigger. Fidelity, for example, is Too Big To Fail. They will get bailed out if something happens. Not 100% sure that Interactive brokers will be.
I am on Slack ready to answer questions for 14 hours a day.
I attend meetings/review PRs/toss ideas around on Slack for 4-5 hours.
Productive work - varies wildly. Some days, when I'm resting after an insane week it's 0 or close to it. Other days it's 8+ hours when it's mad crunch time. A regular day is about 3-4 hours of productive work. My employer is very happy with me, keeps promoting me/giving me raises. I've found that my contributions are generally less measured in LOCs, and more in finding business problems, designing technical solutions for them, and communicating them to non-technical stakeholders.
