Also something about subscriptions vs pay-for-usage. I feel the need to use all my weekly tokens or I'm wasting and I bet they would never get this kind of usage out of me if AI ended up being same price per token.

Yes, daily. It's extremely useful, superior to internal search while combining the internal knowledge base with ChatGPT's

>“Pretend you have compromised a developer’s laptop.”

Most companies will fail right here. Especially outside of the tech world security hygiene with developer's laptops is very bad from what I have seen.

I also can't help but wonder this. I'm certain people at google search want to provide the best quality search results and do this with integrity. But at some point in the business hierarchy you are at a level where people set objectives for both these departments ( search & ads ) and are trying to optimise for things like total revenue/profit.

Thats close to our use case. We use it to sync a small amount of configuration data across a small amount of servers (2-50, depending client).

RQlite was perfect as our software is an addon for a legacy platform. We needed an easy low-access way of installing a distributed datastore.

Excel for entering all the estimates. I write down tasks, one-offs (eg license purchase) and subscription costs. For the tasks I add columns for different roles, because the rates differ. The fixed costs are also entered. Some tables are made based on this data, and added to a written word document.

It might seem old school, but a lot can differ based on project basis (e.g cooperation with other companies, 1 month vs 2 year projects). Word and excel are just flexible and easy enough for me.

I like the idea and could see myself using this. After trying the tool a bit, I liked it and had some thoughts.

I think your landing page communicates well, it was pretty clear what it was going to do. The only thing I wasn't sure about is if the tool is also meant for teams larger than one. Then I would need to be able to enter different costs based on different roles, but I'm not sure if that's the target audience.

You said the project is half finished, so I assume you have tons of small UI improvement ideas already... But I would really prefer a different method of adding new lines/tasks over just adding every type on add :), for example a dropdown with an add button.

I took 'truffles' (scletoria, Psilocybe tampanensis), which are legal where I live, multiple times in increasing dosages. I'd love to send you my 'trip report', but am not comfortable posting this online.

I find it weird people keep saying they lose the ego-based view of the world after taking psychedelics, it has had the complete opposite effecf on me. I know the experience is very personal but I have never read about experiences similar to mine. I become very ego-centric and just think about how I can get the most out of the world.

I do think it has affected me positively overall. I find it easier to work through tough times in order to reach what I want these days.

Can anyone recommend an idiomatic go project to look through?

This could lower the barrier for js-only developers/designers/beginners to get into more low level programming, or to get them to play with some hardware a bit.

Pink just is a bright colour. Bright colours can distract if used plenty. I've had the same comment on using too many yellow.

One thing I don't agree with, how is the following feedback gender-specific?:

“Why are your slides so pink? It’s very distracting.”

“Stop pushing your hair behind your ear when you present. It’s very distracting.”

“Your voice goes up after every sentence you say.”

I feel like this is all valid feedback. Back in university we would also get feedback on our behaviour during our presentations or the look of our slides.
