business logic is more digestible in its current form.

Well, Anthropic spent many $ teling everyone that code is dead so this doesn't matter to them does it? Their business logic can be written in English!

Yes and this can be proven because what Anthropic says and does is vastly different

They say SaaS is dead and you can vibe code any SaaS using Opus and yet despite having Mythos with them they have to use JS terminal to run Claude Code.

Why don't they just vibe code CC? Why doesn't Dario have a 100000 agent swarm to run entirety of Anthropic or at least software department?

The "General Labor Substitute": He rejects the idea that his employment forecasts are "doom marketing". Instead, he asserts that AI will act as a general substitute for human labor, noting that most software engineering could be entirely automated within 1 to 2 years

When someone says all Software engg could be automated within 1yr they don't mean 'oh use our agents and keep human in loop'

They mean 'AI superior than humans fire all humans and all SWEs will be jobless'

I am not going to reply to you going forwards as I can't speak with someone who lives in a different universe

that's the hypocrisy I was pointing out. Lol

For their work they extensively test using humans with deep expertise

But while marketing they say just vibe code bruh

And here they can't even rewrite CC in rust? Why not! Use 1000000 agents!! Write it in platform specific binary! SAAS is dead, that's what he claimed. So what's stopping him from writing the harness in Rust or C than ReactJS?

The amplification is what is causing the skills atrophy. When everyone is chasing max lines of code, we generate more code than what we can realistically write.

And it's not like we can not use LLM because others are using it in a craze to get the next promotion so you have to use it and maximize your output even if your skills are atrophing

You have to note that Himachal or other mountain states with snow need protections. Otherwise they ll quickly lose their local traditions because the mountain snow states have extremely pleasant temperatures even in summer so rich folks from all over the country would simply buy out all the land and houses gentrification overloaded

I know HP lol I live in India

I hadn't thought of it from your PoV but it makes sense.

And I had just been to the Sar pass trek from Kasol, and let me tell you. It's insanely over crowded right now. Despite the regulations.

On our trek we easily had 300+ people at 13k feet!

So I fully support such decisions because small towns can't handle such crowd

I'm not in US and have never set foot there ever.

But I've lived my entire life in India so far.

Most cities and towns won't do this because this affects only a handful of extremely small tourist places which are cool like have snow so they attract 80% of our 1 billion population who choose to be tourists.

I get your overall point though. But major cities just don't suffer from the same problems! Say Chennai or Mumbai or Trivendrum or Kochi or anybody else - this is simply not a problem. They don't have over tourism.

And such decisions will not be taken anywhere else in India

There is a difference between "trippers" and renters. Had your read the article you'd know that they are ok with people living in cottages on Sunday just not "trippers"

They want to reduce people who visit without staying. For Sunday is their day for mass etc

Also most businesses are still closed on the Sunday because the town is Christian
