Why is a relatively new technology like WASM being limited to 32-bit pointers? Why repeat the same mistake again?

Web is 32-bit. Your 64-bit structs will break. This was the root cause of most of my bugs. WASM is 32-bit address space, pointers are 4 bytes not 8.

I need this without knowing before that I needed this. Makes me question why this wasn’t implemented years ago. Anyway, great.

Because I lose the manufacturer-provided five-year-guarantee if I don't.

I just called the shop to replace the perfectly fine e-Call battery in my soon four year old Hyundai car. 250€ to change a battery that has a ten year lifespan. I am not allowed to replace it on my own as it would invalidate the five year long guarantee provided by the manufacturer (not the one by law). Why is this stuff not considered as well?

Also curious whether the "specialized devices" exemptions are AND requirements. Even if those are AND, wouldn’t smartphone manufacturers try to satisfy all three of them?

Just tested it. I can't save the new account in the Mail settings when I leave the incoming credentials blank :-/ It works when I add the real IMAP account though. And the Mail app seems to be clever enough to not duplicate everything in the combined Inbox view. Thanks, at least that's a tradeoff.

Technical question: when I send over my DNS requests to you (do I actually do that?), aren't those requests unencrypted going over the internet so everybody can sniff on which pages I visit?

The opening of the modal is being pushed to Browser history. This confuses me as I don't expect modals to be in the history.

Feedback: the navigation bar at the top is quite unusable from an UE point of view. The positions of the icons (and therefore the hovering position) change as the mouse hovers them. It is quite annoying.

Also, in the FAQ: "How can this be a free service? Magic" This sounds to me as: "stfu, don't ask, you are not clever enough to understand" or "there is some dirty way to get money from you, better don't ask".

Is there a way to embed multiple, independent DLLs into one host application with the possibility to reload/unload DLLs in .NET Core? I didn't find a way yet because .NET Core does not seem to support the AppDomain concept.

Does someone has also issues with heavy-loaded JavaScript pages, e. g. using React or Angular? It's a pain to use/scroll on those sites. The most awful website I know using it is Facebook. It is so damn laggy, even with uBlock and Disconnect enabled. When I start having more than one Facebook tab open (together with WhatsApp Web) I sometimes grow the will to switch to Chrome. I could resist yet because I don't like Google's approach for restrictive extension web store.

Lucky you. Even informatics students go further:

1. Type google.com into the address bar. They don't know that modern browsers can directly redirect search input to your favorite search engine. 2. Type the domain (including extension) to the google search input. 3. Click on the first link.
