This was truly a good product. We mostly MySQL at my workplace and MySQL workbench gave me a lot of headaches due to it being sluggish(this may just be me experiencing it) until I discovered TeamSQL. It worked really well and I loved the fact that my queries were synced to my account and I could access those queries anywhere. Plus the most important thing was that, TeamSQL was really light weight and fast. Can anyone suggest a similar product?

I think that's how most people start out. You're not really doing it all wrong.Coding with much momentum requires experience(which will come). To add to that, you don't always need to try to code by looking at the screen. Take a paper and pencil, try to understand what you are trying to accomplish. Make sure you build a few connections from the problem to the goal and eliminate all possible "wrong paths" in trying to achieve the goal. Trust me, this really works well and can save some time.You can always look it up on google, stack exchange,etc. But in all reality, most developers tend to hit roadblocks and spend quite a while on a maybe smaller problem.

I doubt that. I say this because there are always people who want to do something crazy(like create a virus) just to exploit an OS/app or prove how good they are. Some create malware to infect pcs so they can add to their botnets which could be sold or used for themselves.. So these antivirus companies are just trying to help out.

Programmimg: I wasn't offered computer science in college(my country has a bad system). Rather I was offered math. I didn't see myself good enough in math so I decided to give up on programming for a while. I later read the quote "never stop doing what you love doing best". It really told me I made a fool out of my self. Now, I'm back to the keyboard.
