This is a hardware reveal trailer. Nintendo likely released this because of all of the recent leaks, which have put their 3rd party accessory vendors in a weird position. More details will be revealed at the Nintendo Direct on the 2nd.

That button conversation is way too real. Front end dev here, and I've probably spent at least 20 hours this year just in meetings about fonts.

I hope you find what you're looking for.

They seem to have stopped training new astronauts in the later seasons. I can't believe Ed is still a character, let alone in command of a mission in deep space. I agree the whole show has gone off the rails since season 2.

I don't think I would ever use this project, and I especially would not pay for it.

From scanning the website and documentation, it seems like a less useful debugger than currently available open source tools. I really have no idea what this project is trying to achieve.

and then there's this:

Yes you need an account to use recompyle.

The account is used to validate the license. Nothing more.

The only thing send to our server is a hash of your "machineId"

The App run on you computer, your code is private and not send to our servers.

No analytics or error tracking.

You expect me to simply trust your word that this debugger won't do anything nefarious? Not a chance.

How do you propose the functions should run if you don't have JavaScript enabled?

I've been following Urbit for years, and honestly I still don't see the use case. It seems like its intended use case is to be a network where you can't disseminate your data across the network unless the "lord" that issued you your address space allows you to do so.

Urbit is digital feudalism masquerading as a privacy solution. The original founder is a neoreactionary authoriarian, and the system is designed with his ideal vision of the future in mind.
