Tip: You can take Waymo to just outside the economy lot, then hop on the shuttle to the terminals. The shuttles have their own dedicated lane for going around the loop, so this isn't even that much more time. It's my new favorite way to get to LAX.

I agree with you that Apple taking action on the account is not wholly unreasonable. What I found shocking was the inability to contact someone who could resolve the situation. I know this is a common issue with Google, but had expected Apple to be different.
Reading the paper, it looks like they just demonstrate classification by left loop/right loop/whorl. That's a long way from recreating a full fingerprint.

This is a peer-reviewed paper, but I also have trouble calling it a study. The underlying article makes a philosophical argument but is not a typical research study (which I take to mean the collection of original empirical observations).
Super important to note that this is vaccine effectiveness against infection. It does not address the effectiveness of vaccines to prevent hospitalization or death.
Protection from infection is sort of like cleaning up a spill on your doorstep. Curing an active infection is more like cleaning up after someone deliberately blew dirt throughout your whole house, and hid some extra in nooks and crannies.

You are misrepresenting the WHO statement. It’s covering a small technical issue that setting the Ct threshold for PCR tests can vary the false positive rate, particularly when there is low prevalence. Because use of this, it can be helpful to consider the Ct value of a positive result. It does not say the Ct threshold has been set incorrectly, or that PCR tests “are faulty.”

Ugh. This is inevitably going to be based on a complete misunderstanding of section 230. Section 230 says that platforms cannot be held liable for the speech they allow on their platforms. Repealing it would only lead to more restrictions on what people can post. We should expect more of our Senators, but I can't say I'm surprised.
It seems within Apple's style that they will eventually require this to be implemented for certain types of apps.
