Building reliable background jobs and engineering workflows has almost always been challenging in any company I worked for, and I’m glad there is a company now who tries to excel the DX aspect of this problem.

I have worked with many programming languages and what attracts me to PHP the most is the simplicity of its tooling.

Some of the things you mentioned is on my roadmap but some are new to me. I love the idea of cron visualization.

For pricing, I agree, my current setup is not ideal and I plan to iterate on it in the next couple of months.

Thanks for the support! Yeah, this was a hard decision but hopping the right one for future sustainability.

For now, the only difference is the ease of use and monitoring.

You don't need to focus on the idea too much. I think it's important but seeing other companies solving the same problem should not discourage you to come up with your own solution.

Take a look at these products for inspiration (https://www.indiehackers.com/products) and some of them solve a similar problem but they still co-exist.

The way how I usually choose my next read is by recommendations. It maybe a friend or someone I really admire. I could go over their reading list, check out the book reviews, ask my friends and pick the book.
