There's really no way to tell if an ad is accurate or not just from the ad. AI or not. Not a new thing. Bagels might have been 10% smaller on one day. Who knows. Why even bother reading ads.

For the sake of the generations that come after us, we really should not dump valuable material into space. I somehow doubt the electronics in space would be recovered and recycled properly.
All the increases in density are impressive, but they come with the downside of repairability and recycling difficulties. I hope we can still repair this when parts of it break or at least recycle it properly. No matter how high tech it is, eventually this will break.
you usually only have one database
What if I use the cloud? I don't even know how many servers my database runs on. Nor do I care. It's liberating not having to think about it at all.
Your total energy needs figure today is completely irrelevant. Half of the so called needs are just for entertainment. Now excuse me I have to step in my SUV and drive to lake Garda Italy for the weekend at 200 km/h.
No it is not printing money. Shares are not money.
It is dilution. 160 million shares of AMD for 1 cent will be added. The idea is that the value increase of the remaining shares enabled by the OpenAI cooperation will be stronger than the decrease caused by dilution.
It's not money printing because shares are not classified as money in economics. Money is used for transactions while shares primary purpose is not transactions.

3% of the world GDP is more than the 2 trillion needed to fund AI
Macro-economists can not even predict a recession happening next year.
Why listen to a professor for business admin instead of climate scientists? Are you an idiot?
Of course consciousness is required for intelligence - you need to model yourself as part of the world to have a complete model.
The theater is absolutely passing on movie licensing costs onto its customers
Never heard of this distinction between parameter and argument, to me they are homonymes. To me, argument or parameter refers to a term in the function definition as well as a term in the function call.
Functions don't have variables, named variables, that's Python, not math[0].
No, Python named arguments are a good analogy for Leibnitz notation.
What if your physics problem involves the same physical quantity twice, like speeds and masses of two bodies? Then single letter variable names are no longer unique nor meaningful.
f(v_1, m_1, v_2, m_2)
For the derivatives I would prefer writing
d_v_2 f
instead of
d_3 f
when counting arguments from 1
Your focusing on the unimportant aspect though, the discussion is about the licensing for watching the movie.
You can change the class to be white and then say it's for historical reasons later.
I get 30 days of private time off on my first job out of university. I live in Germany, here at least 20 days off are required by law for a five day work week.
Wa da el
There is no money to be made supplying a subsistence farmer with goods and services? Are you aware of the donations business?
a massive edge was available in the form of physical reads, but almost entirely ignored
No. The word poker face exists for a reason. Everyone knew about the importance of physical reads.
I would think it is impressive, but I wouldn't find it impressive enough if it doesn't beat the established methods of forecasting. I don't start anything because I doubt it would meet my standards of being not pointless and superfluous.
I just want to spend time on my hobbies. I'm in IT because it is the closest a job can be to my hobbies.

Does Bitcoin support a high enough frequency of transactions for long enough to make this possible for years into the future? Does it not become too hard to mine at some point?
Congrats you just made another currency that is explicitly not Bitcoin. And it's better at being a currency than Bitcoin. Which isn't very difficult because Bitcoin absolutely sucks as a currency.
Universities are full of smart people, who know what works best for them. I doubt they would ignore extremely valuable work.
