Except that everyone doesn't use HN. The people that registered their domains with GoDaddy generally don't frequent HN. Informative decisions about domain registration is basically preaching to the choir here on HN. OP's comment is perfect given the context. Had this been CNN or someother popular news outlet, then the OP would have been "snarky"

I think any and all ads for kids apps should be in the Apple App Store or in the Android Market where they belong. I have no problem with selling apps for kids, but don't make it easy or even possible for them to buy one in your free app.

I think this applies to any tablet app. Smart phone apps need to avoid having buttons near my thumb that I can accidentally push.

Except that the URL string doesn't translate well in meat space. I cringe every time I hear someone on the radio or television read off a URL: "Log on to double 'U', double 'U', double 'U' dot mylonganduglywebsitename dot com, forward slash, long directory name, forward slash, yet another long directory name AND click on the partially hidden link". Surely there's verbal short hand that can be implemented?
