Thank you for answering my question.

We create and care for Drupal-powered websites.
TEN7 is online at https://ten7.com/
I don't understand this.
Oh the irony of hosting it on something other than SRC. SMH
Also reproduced on 10.9.5 -- you would think that there's sometone at Apple looking at this forum and at hannob's bashcheck and that it would get tested. I guess there will be a 1.1 version of the update soon?
The Americans should probably fear bugged Russian processors too, right?
Yea, this is exactly what I said in another thread.
Maybe he's trying to get you to bite on the database so that he can extort some money out of this.
Did some investigation:
* The tar file (cnet.com.tar) is 489MB.
* Unpacked it's 536MB
* No database
* Around 30,000 files
* READ.ME has a promise of a copy of the database if you send this person 1BTC (not publishing their name here)
* Based on directory structure, looks like this is a release from 06/12 of this year
* Looks like the site is based on Symphony?

And a competitor to you would be Follow Up Then which does what you do, I think. (http://fut.io/) I've used it for a very long time, but just switched to the snooze button in Streak. It's slick.
Thanks for doing this, it is greatly appreciated. The list of offenders with screenshots is nice, but what would be really useful is a table that is sortable and filterable so that people (i.e. me) can find out if any of our vendors are offenders. Also, a JSON API would be slick too. Just ideas.
Why not just slap Varnish in front of that and be done?
Numbers
I really don't think you need to use NAPTR here. Using TXT works just fine, if you do a sort, if you prepend line numbers to the records. Alas, you still have to do a sort. It would be wonderful if there was a hack that involved not using the sort. Here's one I just added: dig txt art.ten7.com |sort
Thank god that someone else feels the same. It's absolutely the worst thing I have seen in modern history.
Yep. Mind blown.
I own a small Drupal development shop in Minneapolis. I have 7 employees, and we recently started being more Agile than we used to be, which means we have a scrum at 9:30am every day. In the past, people came in whenever they felt like it. Now that people are in earlier, my wife actually had the great idea to have a breakfast bar available to everyone. So, we got a bar fridge in addition to the office fridge we already have, dried fruit, organic granola, yoghurt, fresh fruit, bran, flax, jam, and more and we keep it stocked. Everyone is welcome to have any amount from the breakfast nook in the mornings as they want, and we've been figuring out what people like and adjusting the contents. I think it's working out well -- people don't have to worry about eating before getting into the office, they can just do that when they get in, usually it's after the scrum.

This is a follow up post from my 2010 post asking for help in deciding between Xbox 360 and PS3: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=1191884
You're probably right.
Then what about replacing it with junk? THen doing it again? Then again? Then again?
Perhaps the way to delete the information in the account is to replace the status posts, comments, photos with junk. Words and sentences that don't mean anything; photos that are noise. Perhaps there's a way to do that in an automated fashion. I'd use that.
That's exactly what I thought. Complete and utter waste of time. Plus, the designer is charging the client to "convert" it as an additional fee. Just crazy.
You cut images and layout from InDesign? What do you mean by Covers?

Thanks, I had no idea. I'm happy to contribute some mobile CSS changes! Just an email to PG or is there the equivalent of a pull request somewhere?
