Absolutely ridiculous, to require a DUNS number when so many apps are published by a single person, often for fun or hobby.

Mango is super good and free with most library cards.
I am aware that the font is a divisive choice, lol. I wanted it to look like my scribbles on the page, because that's exactly what it is. Most people I know who read my blog use RSS anyway, and reader mode is a thing that exists.
However, reading over some of these comments, maybe I'll switch it back to Quicksand.
Edit: Fine, I changed it to improve readability.
That’s what I said about Halide, before they moved it to a subscription model.
They don’t since the Costco card changed to Visa
Well, is that normally supposed to happen?
The dolphin game is to allow them to avoid some import/export restrictions by classifying it as a toy, which it is, and not a hacking tool. It’s not a professional device.
Podman was good when it supported systemd unit files, so I could auto start and auto update containers, even entire pods with systemd.
Then they removed that in favor of Quadlet. Now in order to do a single container I can do a unit file, but for a pod, I need to use a Kubernetes cluster definition.
Plus, unlike Docker their containers bow to SELinux definitions, so I have repeatedly struggled with containers unable to access mapped directories.
So what is it, Podman? Should I just use Kubernetes? Should I just make dedicated directories for everything instead of mapping logical places for things?
Fucking legend
Me too. I’d love an iPod with classic interface, but it pulls WiFi and Apple Music from my iCloud account and stores my library offline. Nice big output for high end headphones and high end DAC and they’d have a banger.
This is unlikely to succeed, because a)it is an image of their product taken with their own camera - so if Apple wins here the precedent is you can’t take photos OF an iPhone?? Like hell that’s ever going to happen, and Apple would be idiots to do that anyway, seeing your friends in photos with iPhones in clear view is just free advertising and plays into Apples thing for “Apple users are elite”.
And b)Apple’s copyright refers to hardware design. Dbrand didn’t make hardware - they made an image, or skin, or case. None of these are applicable competitors to Apple’s iPhone.
We have that too, it’s called BurnMyWindows in the KDE effects repo
This is why I use Mikrotik. I swear they’re the last brand standing that is actually built tough. Affordable too.
Ships with Android 11…DOA if you ask me. Even e-readers need proper software support.
I wonder if MikroTik would be compromised- they’re Latvian and don’t necessarily have to bow to the NSA.
Not visiting cost them nothing. No serve, no cost.
Viewing the ad made them money.
Visiting and not viewing the ad lost them money. They paid for the server but made no money.
Only one of these three options is painful enough for them to get the point. It’s harsh i know, writers need to eat, but they need to understand I won’t “pay” them with my eyeballs unless the site is usable in return at a bare minimum.
arch-based clone of SteamOS 2
So SteamOS 3?
The robot delivery units from Starship Robotics are also largely off the shelf components including a Raspberry Pi and 4G hotspot.
It’s cheaper to buy Pis and make your startup than it is to make something yourself, which is equal parts impressive and sad.
SimpleLogin is much more featured and supports extensions on all major platforms.
Steam page says 2023.
Now I don’t have any skin in this game, using Omnivore myself, but I’m not good at reading code. What’s this mean? I assume it’s not killing the reader as in I have nothing to fear for my life. Does this disable reader mode, or prevent some sites being used by Pocket? ELI5 please.
I would like to point out that this card contains a critical error - the number reads 001/001, but in fact, there were twenty made.
As we all know, three were given to the elves, seven to the dwarves, nine to the race of Men, and the one the Dark Lord kept for himself.

We already have a solution to that, a unified search engine for most federated communities https://lemmyverse.net/communities
There is a duplicate communities and fragmentation problem, but…..did you see Reddit’s fragmentation? It’s about the same
when the apricot has an RSS feed on the homepage
I used the Apricot to subscribe to the Apricot
If only we could deny Copilot from pulling your code by including # Fuck off Copilot #
Microsoft is a pain in the ass regardless - they block my email delivery from SimpleLogin. From their own servers.
It’ll be interesting if this goes to users not being able to trust their DNS, because router manufacturers can just include their own. Unbound DNS has been around for a while, and they can’t stop a pirate site from broadcasting their own host name.
If we all ran our own DNS they can’t sue all of us.
Funny enough, the amount of bots in my inbox went up by like 500% as soon as this launched. Weird how that works.
Also, now it’s easier to take screenshots.
Why was this a good idea? Who asked for this?
If I like the way the product works now, I want to use it that way indefinitely. Take Photoshop for example - if all I use is the brush and a bit of copy and paste, I don’t want to buy the new version and I don’t want to pay a subscription for upkeep of basic features. Just let me pay $30 for a license to use the tools the way they are now, for as long as I want. If they turn out a new version with better copy and paste, I’ll consider the upgrade(note that the term “upgrade” is why I would justify paying more over time).
A software like Microsoft Word - it’s mature, it’s not really getting better, why would I pay them monthly to use the same features?
My unRAID server software - I pay for unRAID once, and I expect my server to run until it dies. Why would I pay $20 a year or whatever just to keep my server running in my own house?
Services like Netflix on the other hand are turning out new content which is what I pay for. Content delivery is a different animal.
