Couldn't those large black holes merge though to get bigger ones?

Agent engineer master. Currently it's a skill builder to generate custom production grade skills for agents but my goal is to build it into a system that non engineers can use to build and deploy agents with just prompting. https://agentengineermaster.com/
I hope this works. A decade ago I submitted glowing microbes to the epa but they blocked it. My read from going through that was that it was politically impossible. Hopefully times have changed.
Edit: my microbes were gmo, these are not, so no epa rules. Good luck to them!
Not only that but they seem to have cut my plan ability to use Sonnet too. I have a routine that used to use about 40% of my 5 hour max plan tokens, then since yesterday it gets stopped because it uses the whole 100%. Anyone else experience this?
Maybe but having it search first to load the context with relevant information sure gets better results
It's the other way around. Cashier's spend their 4 percent, where's the lawyers probably save it. Though of course median salary for the two categories means 4 percent change is different in absolute dollars
Why? What's the incentive/value to commenting here with AI?
what are your impressions?
How would a USA civil be the best scenario globally? Who knows what wars that would trigger globally
It would also help with sites that can't handle the hacker News traffic load. Happens all the time
Interesting application. Can you share more about your stack and how you are approaching that build?
Checkout will happen directly in the app, and yes they will collect a fee on it.
Not true of Netflix, founder came from PayPal. Apple required founder to leave and learn with a bunch of other companies like Pixar and next.
It's a type of software that lets business manage and automate core processes in one integrated system. Typically linking finance/accounting with operations like sales, inventory and manufacturing.
Interest rates have fallen dramatically over this period, which increases the ratio that is affordable.

Peter diamondis and ray kerzweil tried with singularity University but the accreditation process priced to much.
I've found meditation very useful in this regard. If you focus on observing in detail #1 type pain, you find that the #2 becomes much more managable. The technique is to get curious about the pain, ask what type it is (hot/cold/electric etc), where exactly is the pain. what shape is it? how does it change over time? It sounds counter-intuitive but by focusing on it it becomes easier to manage (because I think a lot of #2 is story and mental reactions to the pain rather than the actual pain itself and the mental reactions are self-fulfilling in a negative way).
You are assuming that consciousness can be reproduced by simulating the brain. Which might be possible but it's by no means certain.
This has not been my experience at all. I moved to the bay area in 2012 and 5 people I met living there have built unicorns/have net worth now around > $1BN. None of them leveraged family connections. this might be true in Europe but the best folks figure out how to move to america.
Yes, because if AI can do maths then it can use that to improve the efficiency/quality of it's algorithms to self improve...
Also I want my kid exposed to technology, to learn to use and develop with it, but how do you balance that with preventing the damages it seems to cause? We are delaying screen-time for my 2 year old till he's at least 5 or 6 but not sure when is the right time to introduce.
If they are in such high demand, then are they just being priced below cost? why else is the capex so much higher than the revenues? These things must depreciate over only 3-5 years (or less?)
That's not the main source of the problem, it's governments printing money that's causing this.
"we encourage the Google Play 2D app store to come to Meta Horizon OS, where it can operate with the same economic model it does on other platforms." - I feel like this might be the rub of this. Google is way behind in building the android of spatial computing, and maybe this can play into the trust busting cases where meta can show Google not playing fair?
This isn't just climate change though, that period was significantly colder than previous periods (google 'little ice age'). Not disputing man made climate change at all, but the earth naturally goes through warming and cooling phases and we shouldn't expect New York to be as cold as 1800 today even without climate change.
Of course this kind of natural change is what gives ammunition to climate deniers!
Dalton and Michael talk about folks pivoting too much and not fully learning/validating from each pivot in this recent video. Obviously I don't know anything about what you've been doing but perhaps there's some wisdom here: https://www.ycombinator.com/blog/when-to-pivot-and-when-to-s...
I wondered that too. A subtle endorsement of Sama perhaps. A way of saying there's no bad blood there despite what the press was saying about his 'firing' from YC. Sama did a great job running YC, and certainly made PG a boatload of money. Also seeing the success at OpenAi, hard to argue Sama didn't make the right call to leave and focus on it, could hardly have done that plus keep running YC. (my guess at what happened is Sama started openai on the side and gradually it became more and more of his focus until there was a conversation about whether he should focus exclusively on it, which they mutually decided should happen).
I'm struck by the parallelism between this process of writing the best essay, and the process of developing a successful startup. Both require starting with a good question, that sets the upper bound for the value to be created. Both require curiosity, and hopefully to reveal some unintuitive insight. Both are functions of their time, what is a good startup today is not timeless much as what makes a good essay today is not timeless. And so on...
