Don‘t know where you are living but in the US this scenario of ‘there might be an authoritarian regime in the future’ has become reality faster than most people believed it could.

For me this term makes them sound inefficient or even redundant, as in somebody reinventing the wheel.

Was 2005 really such a different time with respect to monopolies that someone like Brin would actually think it's "silly" for more than one browser to have significant market share? Wasn't Microsoft punished also for bundling IE with Windows?

If what they call 'consistency' is just the total number of stories posted, it's not really surprising to see a strong correlation with total karma points, is it? The more stories posted, the more karma gathered. Anything else would be a real head scratcher.

You could say, there might be people who keep posting stories even though the don't get upvoted, but that would be kind of irrational. If the community doesn't seem to be interested in what they post, they will stop doing so sooner or later.

I like the idea, but they should have called it something else instead of ‚usename‘. Maybe ‚connection string‘ or ‚discovery phrase‘. Right now they have to explain at length in what ways it’s different from regular usernames.

I really enjoyed playing it, seems to hit the right sweet spot of difficulty. The earlier puzzles (1-4) seemed a bit easy at first, but not so easy to deter me from continuing. With #5 I needed a bit of back and forth, but not frustratingly much.

Also I really like the graphics and sound, it's pleasant to look at and to listen to, which is important for a puzzle game imo.

Meta says they have an advantage because all the data on their platform, which they can use to train models. Yet, later in the article is mentioned that Meta so far has used the Common Crawl dataset.

If their trove of data is so valuable, why don't they use it? Could the problem be that none of Meta's "hundreds of billions of images" is labeled, making it far less useful for training models?

Also, I imagine that the content on FB and Insta is highly skewed in a certain direction, like selfies and food images, which restricts its usefulness further.

I kinda like the term 'people first project management' used further down on the product page. Maybe have a dedicated page talking about why your software is inclusive with respect to neurodiversity, but it seems counter productive to call yourself 'projekt planner for ADHD people', at least if you want to market to enterprises. I don't see the difference between these two, both reverse a word by 'spinning', so why are these two seemingly identical examples given here?
