4. I'm unable to find the address of your company on the homepage. This is a no go, especially when dealing with images which are potentially sensitive user content, I need to know exactly who is responsible for operating the service.
1. I really love to have a dedicated image manipulation API which is not tied to a (headless) CMS.
2. I don't care about speed. Image manipulation can never be instant, and while the operation may be super fast on your end, the image data still needs to travel the wire, and be rendered on the UI. Your performance argument therefore is mute for me.
3. I do care a lot about having smart features like face detection, auto rotation, optimization (e.g. optipng), this should be on your start page.

On June 7, NPM CEO Bryan Bogensberger told employees in an internal Slack message that the company had reached a deal with its board of directors to provide enough funding to take it through at least the first quarter of 2020. He also implied that NPM had faced the possibility of running out of money, saying: “This is absolutely the best of both worlds because we can run a proper raise process without the threat of running out of money and with the full support of the board.” NPM is a small company with about 50 employees, but nonetheless provides a crucial JavaScript programming tool to some 11 million developers. This look into NPM’s financial situation comes about a month after 17 employees wrote an internal letter demanding better working conditions and criticizing management’s lack of financial transparency, in the wake of a controversial layoff at the company. Hammertime is the name given to a Unix time with milliseconds. Which is the same as saying the number of milliseconds since 1970. It has finer granularity than a normal Unix timestamp and thus is often used in realtime applications.
According to startup lore, Hammertime was coined by a startup whose founder had an interesting interaction with M.C. Hammer. There was no name given to "Unix time with milliseconds" and while brainstorming ideas (because Unix time with milliseconds is a confusing mouthful), someone suggested Hammertime and it stuck.
The title is misleading. Path style request "/foo/bar/file.ext" are still supported.

Amazon Dash is illegal in Germany, a German court ruled in a lawsuit by a consumer protection office:
- Users have to be informed about the actual item and price before the order
- Button must have notice that using it creates a payable order ("zahlungspflichtig bestellen")
Reasoning for lawsuit is, that the Dash button limits consumer ability to compare prices.
I have been in similar situations, where I could see that the direction was willing to go was against my personal values and would also put the startup into even more risk.
What I asked myself in these cases: what if I am right? Do I want to stick around for voting rights / equity later of a corporation that is worth nothing in a year? Why waste more time in a team and on a product I no longer believe in.
