By permission, we mean that each team's data is hosted on a single document, and when you add a member, they can see both the data in the app and also binary files associated with that data. We don't try to do differing levels of permissions not supported by google

Just wanted to mention that I work on NimbusFoundry(nimbus foundry.com) which has similar ideas except we focus on auth, storage of data, and permissioning instead of front end. This is so that users can create apps within enterprise environments like Google apps for business easily.

This is a change for the far worse, someone branch this please and maintain a backward compatible branch with the same syntax.

I totally agree that kindness has not been isolated. It seems that if anything, social status and respect has been isolated. Two cases they mentioned, a slacker on a team that's a guy, and a girl who is hardworking, are both worthy of respect and disrespect but no kindness was demonstrated.

I don't think it's that simple. I actually think a lot of women are also attracted to unkindness, it's the "bad boy" effect. In pickup culture, the well known "neg" is also a manifestation of this.

I think it has a lot to do with a women's personal goals, whether they want to casually date for fun or settle down.

I would really like to see a study of the unkindness and it's effect on women in terms of attraction.

It actually doesn't manage your domain, but pulls data from google's domain admin API to make adding new users from your domain a easy process. On hindsight, it seems that if you don't know about the API you might get paranoid about the notice; my bad on that part.

Dropbox's API doesn't support collaboration well before, we simply couldn't build what we are building on top of them. They recently added collaboration for their datastore, we're looking into it more.

We wrote the email services to use your own gmail accounts. Since the app is only clientside, you have nothing to worry about. Those permissions will only activate when you are on the app.

Giving the authors 100% of the profit is a great negotiating move, it really bring to light how much the authors are getting screwed now in terms of book profits. Also Amazon makes it clear to everyone they don't care about the money as much as Hachette.

A lot of comments seems to be negative on this.

As a amazon prime subscriber, this is great for me, here's why:

1. I have amazon prime for their delivery, and this is basically a free music service for my mobile that is unmatched by anything else. (Free spotify sucks on mobile in comparison, and can't be used offline)

2. Downloaded songs basically gives me a library and allows me to use the song everywhere.

3. A million songs is a lot, unless you listen a lot to very esoteric bands, it works well.

The app is crashing on search for me, but it doesn't matter, the content is so great I will keep going back. Amazon Prime video already trumped netflix with their HBO library acquisition. I am psyched to see what they will try next.

I ordered a bottle, can't wait to try it out.

I'm not sure replacing your entire meals with any drinks is healthy since chewing improves digestion, but this seem great for a breakfast replacement.

Amazon's beta had a better show and also a better idea as a startup.

Google Drive's web interface is already vastly superior to Dropbox. They also support direct linking from drive file to custom file types for web apps.

If anything, it's their desktop interface that is not as good as Dropbox.

This is confusing to me, I tried the demo but had no idea what it did.
