Are you looking for interns?
Very nice! Random suggestion, how about you turn the background color of the page to the avg color/most popular color people picked for the song when displaying the results.
Also, here is a list of hacker news folks on G+. You can add the emails into Google Contacts and we'll all appear in find and invite or you can dd people one by one. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1lQACCsE19tzBjRrfgmAcU25m...
Thanks. Yea I guess it makes sense to leave the form in so one can easily get recommendations for the next thing. I'll incorporate this in.
Thanks for the advice. I am planning on integrating youtube/itunes for the songs, movies, comedians as relevant.
Can you explain what you mean by the #how breaking at twitter\n username? Do you mean when you enter a newline in the username bar?
Wow thanks a lot for the feedback guys. Yes, it uses hunch. I could be wrong but hunch didn't have a way an unregistered user could just enter the twitter username and get the recommendations. Also, it was my first attempt at using apis and it was meant as a learning experience more than anything.

People needing invites add your name to the invite part, and I/someone else will send you an invite whenever.
Interesting. Great that theyv'e taken action. Not sure I would drop out of college for this though. However, currently using a blackboard like app, and having spoken to many friends using blackboard, it seems to be pretty crappy. If they can get a couple of schools like Penn to adopt CourseKit, its got some great potential.
A great idea. Will you be making your own lectures or linking to the lectures from MIT OCW, Stanford etc.
Hmm this is quite weird. Maybe the new name made it feel more like a 'cool web app' which made more people sign up. Can't make much of this without the actual name etc though.
It looks really good. Seems like a great concept and good design. One suggestion I would make is have something about the app on the front page such as a video demonstration or a slightly more detailed explanation of what it does. Maybe just a paragraph above the part where the random reviews appear.
Great idea. Its already gone viral :) It might be better if you provide thin strips of each color rather than whole thumbnails as it can more accurately tell hows the skys colors is changing
Wow! Just had a look at their designs and they are pretty amazing! Maybe Facebook are making a desktop app after all?
Hmmm. Although increasing the price in his view increased the perceived quality of the products and sales in the consumers eyers, I'm wondering whether the pretty common tactic of showing a higher price and OTO'ing at his lower price would result in a a larger revenue? Like writing the price is 19.99 but for this week only you can get it for 9.99.
