We're looking for curious generalists who enjoy hacking on various parts of the stack to form alliances between systems. If you like automating things, building order on top of chaos, this could be good fun. In case you're more motivated by improving business metrics and such, we've got that covered as well.

I'm pretty fond of using this tool to take trips down memory lane, revisiting lost content I used to enjoy.

Browsing through crawls has this neat side-effect of being able to serendipitously discover things that I missed back in the day just by having everything laid out on the file system.

PSA: There's a lot of holes in most crawls, even for popular stuff. A good way to ensure that you can revisit content later is submitting links to the Wayback Machine with the "Save Page Now" [1] functionality. Some local archivers like ArchiveBox [2] let you automate this. Highly recommended to make a habit of it.

With Common Table Expressions you can process the shared data in one set ("temporary table" is a good mental model for it), compute the unique parts in subsequent sets and use the results for the UNION in a single query.

100% test coverage is pretty easy to game as long as the metric is known. Just exercise all paths and write as few assertions as you can.

I'd prefer <100% coverage plus discussions about what to test (and how) much more than working with a test suite built on the wrong incentives.

Having built several Alpine and Debian-based images, Alpine has always been very nice for the happy path, but much more hassle to get out of a hole when something broke due to software misbehaving due non-Alpine assumptions.

Debian in Docker in comparison offer less surprises, but you have to consistently do the right incantations.

Regarding missing binary wheels on ARM: with more ARM laptops in the wild those would eventually become more common.

You can use automated testing to verify if your functionality is still there.

If that's too much work you can just deploy to a subset of your users (after npm audit) and let the error monitoring system tell you about the new exceptions.
