Currently, because of the subsidies from the frontier models, demand is mostly for higher intelligence.

If subsidies do end, demand for price efficiency per unit of intelligence will go way up.And because there's many players in the market, this demand should be met by at least some of them.

I have been experimenting with dissassembly and rewrite of 90s dos games in Rust.

It's not something I have experience in so I rely heavily on the models setting the direction and automating the work.

It's something where the level of intelligence has a huge impact. I still haven't succeeded, it's mostly an experiment for me to test the edges of model capabilities and see how they tackle such a hard problem.

I like using Odin with LLMs for this. it's a simple statically typed language with no GC and very fast compile

does that mean someone was paying into your social security, essentially boosting your benefit amount when the time comes?

I'm not ethnically Chinese but I studied Mandarin in college in the early 2000s then moved to Taiwan for almost a decade. I don't regret doing it, but it didn't provide me any sort of business or career advantage like everyone thought it would in the early 2000s

at the time when Diablo came out it was clear it was a polished, graphical version of Nethack

also played on the Genesis and I definitely remember the framerate being low! compared to when I played Star Control 2 on PC a few years later
