You might already know, but if you click on the extension icon, you can specify which pages to disable it for. I disable it in pages that have useful keyboard navigations. But it's great for things like HN, where I can use J/K to navigate, then hit F and open a link I want.

That makes sense. I was planning to write up some ideas that people can just take if they want. Also, seems like a good idea to have people pick what they're working on before the actual hackathon starts.

Do you have any example of what non-technical people worked on? For example, we have QA members and I'd love to include them, but I don't have as many ideas as I do for developers.

This looks really interesting! It seems like there's potentially 2 great companies in here:

1. Providing good programming tests with automatic env setup

2. Automatic PR reviewing and grading.

By this I mean that you could do less and still be useful, for example just run linting and tests on the PR and let me review it myself. That will match what I do at work anyway. That would let you focus on just providing great example projects and covering more languages, rather than on the automatic grading.

I'm wondering about workspaces. It feels like a thing that sounds like a good idea but then in practice isn't used much. My browsing is mostly chaotic and I don't really wanna spend time neatly organizing everything. Wondering what your experience with it has been. Good luck with everything!

Yeah, one downside is what you said that you can have a bunch of open tabs which is the whole problem this tool looks to solve! The other downside is that tabs don't sync across devices and your bookmarks in Runneth do (as long as you're logged in).

I don't know if I agree that Apple fell into a trap. Epic definitely got what they wanted but Apple made the right move. They were already being investigated for these practices. The payment model was definitely going to be brought up in congress already. At least now they can try to make the point that they enforce the rules consistently and don't play favorites with big companies. It looks way better than "Apple has unfair rules that it only enforces for the little guy".

This looks really cool! I only see 7 books in the bookshelf. Are you planning to add more?
