Ecto in Elixir has a decent balance and is nice to use though Elixir doesn't have objects, but the abstraction layer is handy.

However, usually the bad result is not affecting immediately and in the meantime the apprentice undergoes a lot of anti-learning before this becomes apparent. And the learning muscles have atrophied.
That is an important catalyst aggregating the problem. Juniors are reading less code, mostly generating and then AI code produced dissuades them from reading code even more and the skills take a bit even more.
If you could elaborate a bit with why do you feel that way, it would help me glean some insight after comparing with the experience at my workplace. We face double challenge because English is not our first language.
Is there some tool or way of guiding junior devs to make the best use of AI, perhaps monitoring their prompts? Or somehow to intervene and coax them into using better prompts according to their level and experience. Perhaps make AI respond differently to people with different profiles.
Am also concerned about mentoring and community ecosystems languishing and the social connection wilting.

People used to Windows are just like beginners for Linux. It is difficult to empathise with a beginner but there are just too many versions, different for single card, multiple cards, X, gdm, xephyr etc., making it abstruse.
Any ideas how can I influence the development. I know at least a dozen IT and school people who want this and I might be able to mobilize even more.
People who want to see Linux on the desktop may be more interested to see this happen.
Actually, want to use multi-cores which are so prevalent today - you can run Netbeans IDE for Java / PHP / JavaScript on them with good memory which I don't thinks SoCs can handle. I need much more CPU than SoCs but will be happy with a single / two core(s). Four to six developers would then be able to use a single machine with decent RAM with dramatically reduced maintenance.
I think it should be a no-brainer e.g. Aster for Windows 7 and 10. It is plug and play with a simple GUI configuration step. The instructions you have mentioned are more than three years old.
Unless it is easily available, it is not going to be used. As soon as you get into desktop terminals, there is dependency on an outside vendor which then becomes a vendor lock.

In developing countries e.g. India where I live and work, people might not come or vote and contribute for such features but this will be a huge step towards making Linux available to many more children at school and home and more hands at work. For schools, this could make computers available for a single computer making computing available for 4-8 children after installing some additional graphics cards. Being in the e-learning Industry, I see this could give a lot of momentum to computer literacy in schools.
This could be a huge maintenance and energy saver at the workplace at will. Now that almost all cards nowadays contain multi-heads, just installing an additional card could make a single computer server upto four workstations.
