I waited for an great editing expert before trying elixir, that never came...

But, now with LLMs I don't have to fear a loosely typed language, I'd love to give it another go.

I read the whole writeup assuming it was LLM assisted, then when I got to the bottom I realized it's from 2021 and was blown away.

Did you read the article?

It's not about enhancing Claude. This article is about creating your own agent, and giving it the ability to create plans and tasks list for its or.

The way Claude code creates plans and tasks list for itself.

The article is about creating that in your own harness for things not using claude code, like say a custom LLM integration in your own web app.

Dude, you're crazy! You look great now, prob one of the best procedures of it I've seen.

Also I notice my wife and female friends NEVER seem to notice when someone has plugs.

When I occasionally point it out, they're always surprised.

I haven't done it as I don't need it, but I would say anyone on the fence, just do it.

From what I know it's easier to keep what you have that get a transplant so fire up that HIMs subscription

Claude Opus 4.8 2 months ago

I just had Opis 4.8 code up something and actually that's exactly how it coded it!

It looked gross and minimized, the result was awesome but the code looked pretty awful visually

Does anyone know if this is in GA immediately or if it is in preview?

On our end, Gemini 3.0 Preview was very flakey (not model quality, but as in the API responses sometimes errored out), making it unreliable.

Does this mean that 3.0 is now GA at least?

I think this is super cool, but the combative tone doesn't bode well for relying on it in case I find issues or want to submit a PR.

Sometimes the AI is all too good at writing tests.

I agree with the idea, I do it too, but you need to make sure the test don't just validate the incorrect behavior or that the code is not updated to pass the test in a way that actually "misses the point".

I've had this happen to me on one or two tests every time
