Oxygen candles smell bad. I would never want to use one except in an emergency situation. No scrubber necessary if I’m just evacuation.

I also self host but on a VPS. Incoming mail works great. Outgoing mail not so much unless I send it to a trusted third party SMTP server. No outgoing mail fees if low traffic. Might be an option to consider while building up reputation?

Nuclear power is only as safe as the people who are involved in it. In this case, the Fukushima power plant wasn't funded like it should have been because people weren't interested in nuclear power. Turns out that's both extremely dangerous and hard to control.

Also, what do you mean by paranoia and unnecessary evacuations? Nobody could even guess what was going to happen. When will explosions happen? How many? What direction will the wind blow? The power plant was out of control. The US government didn't assist with evacuations until AFTER the first release which spread contamination south hitting Tokyo, and east hitting their own USS Ronald Reagan.

Paranoid? Unnecessary? Sorry, that's a cruel thing to say to those who were contaminated.

OpenBSD does something like this. In the current release, they provide the public keys for the next release. After trust-on-first-use it's a never-ending cycle.

I call it trust-on-first-use because I didn't verify the initial signatures. Hmmm..

I use vimium[1] to close most pop-ups by typing "f" and then hitting the letter that pops up next to the close button.

If that doesn't work, I use a bookmarklet called "Remove Sticky"[2]. I type "bre" and hit enter when sticky things pop up to get them gone.
