Now that there is a wave of economic protectionism across the globe,, many Indian companies have to rethink their strategy. Now is the most opportune moment for Indian IT companies to prove that they are genuinely world class and that they have upped their game in terms of delivering with high quality and skill with a hugely diverse multi cultural, multi national workforce.

The current US administration is all talk and no action. They raise the relevant points like stealing of jobs, visa abuse, Obama Care - Basically they aim to make america great again. Sadly there is no reforms or policies which are coming through due to lack of unity amongst republicans. So Mr. Trump is coming across as a weak and lame duck president contrary to what he claims. In terms of taking action on this current visa abuse case , its highly unlikely that anything at all is going to happen. His vision , thought process and plan are deliberately way to idealistic and destined to fail , perhaps failing as president will have a huge business gain for this person.

In India most of the Doctors go on a vacation to foreign countries at least twice a year, these are sponsored trips by non profit orgs of big pharmaceutical brands. There is also a massive lobby working in india to block generic drugs ; the present government thankfully did not yield to their lobby , the price of Stunt is now reduced by 80% , thats how much the price was marked up !

I have noticed several developers deliberately introduce accidental complexity for the sake of job security. Just to make it really really hard for a new person to do any thing with it , they create a hostage situation where you have to do a full gut of his or her work and redo it. This is more evident in a situation where the teams are geographically distributed and the main team (typically in USA) feels insecure that their jobs are going to India or some other country where software maintenance is cheaper. The problem of accidental complexity is very serious for large enterprise software companies who have aging products typically on a Microsoft stack so those engineers who have spent a decade coding and maintaining it tend to be happy with a crooked way(hacks and workarounds - Undocumented of course) of doing things which gives them an unfair advantage. To conclude; accidental complexity is a political tool introduced by developers deliberately of reasons best known only to them

I would recommend benedict Evans weekly news letter , it gives the best news and updates from the tech world. Unlike a blog site which can be monolithic this news letters covers the top tech happenings of the week and it feels very complete for me

It does , because this is one platform with fully inter operable work item, build number, change set id , deployment server integration readily available , if you notice the individual tools, they come from different org's and have different way of working , except that they have a rest API exposed for you to integrate any other tool in a limited way. Its like when a developer makes one line of code change , he or she can use this platform to shepherd the change into production in a fully automated manner and take responsibility for the same.

I see an opportunity for a continuous delivery platform , if you notice on stackshare people use Jira(trello) , github , gitter(slack) and travis/jenkins for their work , so much of context switching happens navigating(working) the tools. The idea here is to build one platform which will have all of this in Tabs and available to the teams in a hosted manner. So when one delivers code , the next tab he should be able to see a CI build kicked off and the following tab a docker container which is ready to host the built new code commit for QA.

I have been using takezoe/gitbucket for a while now and have been happy with it , gitea seems to be the new kid on the block :), its also impressive to note that DigitalOcean has sponsored their hosting. In the last 4 years of Obama presidency the clout America had abroad has considerably reduced. Especially after the whistle blowing incident , the ruling dispensation came across as corrupt and unethical. The bargaining power was compromised greatly because of this and the whole world now knows about spying , prism , NSA etc. A Greek philosopher Diogenes I think it was or Socrates dont remember had said this awesome quote , " Pardoning treason will lead to self destruction" . This decision seems to have a strong left liberal bias unfortunately

With 88.67% of desktop OS being different flavors of microsoft OS, it seems a bit overwhelming that its still that high , especially after a massive acceptance of ubuntu. Its shocking that Apple has failed to make inroads in any other country outside the USA. One wonders why it never crossed their minds. This gives Microsoft a great opportunity to win back this big iPhone using crowd by making their Apps platform independent which they are doing already. I see Microsoft coming back big time like the windows 98 , 2000 and VB 6.0 kind of good times awaits them now :)

I use DDG full time and it has been awesome , I am a devops guy use DDG to trouble shoot my way out of problems I get stuck in and I have personally found this to be way better than google. The Bang search is very cool too , for example I use it to search github for docker orchestration related content directly ! , I also use DDG command line quite a bit and its really awesome , these are things which I feel are much superior compared to google and I hope DDG will become the geeks most preferred search tool in 2017

This site appears to be a front of google and in the end its relying on google to search and get the result, some how I don't see this to be too different from directly using google in a incognito window

The article appears to be written in a biased manner and lacks Rational and logic , till now no body has ever been able to come up with a solution on how to deal with nuclear waste in a safe way or how to deal with a accident in a nuclear plant
