I don’t get why other chip manufacturers don’t go this same route. For example AVX is done on the same core that also supports integer math. Many companies have a separate GPU but AVX seems to always come prepackaged.

I have always found myself more engrossed and wanting to run if I have a great podcast series or a great audiobook to listen to. Lately haven’t been getting any good recommendations and feeling like it is a chore to run.

My parents would talk about their struggles growing up without any money.
My mother who was orphaned at a very young age and was raised by her grand mother would tell us about how she would have to erase their books and turn over their school uniforms and restitch them when they got faded when a new school year began because they couldn’t afford new clothes or books. My uncle who was all of 8 months when my grand parents passed away, had to struggle to make his school fees. Yet they have done well simply because of their perseverance and hard work. When I think about it, luck must have played a role but they still worked very hard to make their lives and their kids lives better.
My father would tell me about the time when they couldn’t afford to buy milk for me as a kid. And his cousin who was many years his senior asked him if he had any savings and when they answered in the negative, implored him to start.
These 2 things have always been my guiding lights. Very recently I have started losing interest in everything that is happening around me due to life circumstances. And writing these things has truly helped me understand where I’m from and what I need to do. Thank you OP
As someone from India, this is far more acceptable than the alternative. Folks around my age just got married before or during the pandemic and as most of us had moved back home (people travel to Bangalore to work although there are decent options in other places). However the strife that I see on a regular basis between my wife and my mother is itself enough to want me to leave and just get back to work. Add a kid to this and it is just a circus at home. I’m sure although I’ll spend a lot on relocating, it is worth it for the simple reason that it is lesser mental tension to keep people away from each other.

You could try using water sprays instead.
Something I learned to do is to only water the leaves (ie make them wet). And if the soil is very dry, to pour water directly to the roots.
My reasoning being that rain unless it is heavy, doesn't actually reach the soil directly and then there is the matter of water coming out through the openings in the pot if there is too much of it.

You really need to look a little more at Jim and his style. He has been around from the time of DEC (Digital Equipment Corporation). And has been a great engineer. But what sets him apart is not his technical competence, but his ability to organise great teams around him and get the work done. And he has always been the person who has been given the reins of companies in crisis. It is a marvel how he manages to get the product back up.
So, there are 2 teams. 1 is in traditional computer architecture (OoO, Branch prediction, memory, prefetchers etc) and the other is in AI/ML accelerators. If you have AI/ML software engineering experience, I would encourage you to apply for the AI/ ML team.

Having used both contiki and riot, I found contiki (NG) very good with supporting more devices and peripherals and much easier to integrate and work with. Riot is difficult in that half the times their tutorials themselves didn't work and there was no support online (this was about a year back and maybe it is better now).
