You have a pretty diverse collection of books there! Do you update the site regularly?

I would suggest that you explicitly name the site as hacker-books or something like that. For people who don't know about HN, would be able relate to the name better.

Also consider adding a list of online resources that are not in published form. There are a ton of that out there, would make it even more diverse.

right! I live in India, and though I do tend to get updates about local startups irregularly, I am still not aware of any good HN like site which keeps me up to date with all the latest activities in Indian startup world.

I think when I registered on HN, it didn't make email as mandatory!! Or is my memory deceiving me?

Most of the stuff that I tend to find using Google is more about the things/features/products that tech companies are dishing out. However, I don't get blogs that are more into the technical details like Algos, architecture, design, programming etc.

There are a few goods posts on HN every now and then, but would love people to share what interesting technical feeds they follow regularly.

Absolutely!! I think if someone is really that necessary or could add value that could make a drastic change, you should ask him to become a co-founder. Every founder would want the best people to work for him, but can they afford them? And if they can't how far are they willing to go to get the person. A person can work under his pay-grade only if he thinks he owns the thing and can see his future connected with in terms of prosperity and happiness.

There are plenty of good code around. Study Linux Kernel if you want to get really high!! Basically, depends on where your interest lies .. find a good open source project in your area of interest and figure out how it works ...
