Your screenshots don't have to be literal screenshots. At first glance, there doesn't seem to be anything special about your app. Its main feature is un-advertised!

I would suggest some sort of transitional photo. Show the sloppy drawing fading into the crisp flowchart. Maybe a little text on the image. "Draw flow charts in seconds!".

Is there a single source for data like this? Lists countries, currencies, timezones, dictionary words.

A Wiki for massive amounts of data that is basically common knowledge.

I haven't tried it, but you should be able to set the cornerRadius of the layer (a CALayer) of the main window. That would apply it to all subviews.

Sounds almost exactly me. I leave important emails in my inbox that I'm working with (and one or two from my parents). I have a max of about 10 at any time. Zero unread.

I would love to see these states represented:

- Unseen (sent but I haven't opened my inbox or cleared the notification)

- Unread (seen but not opened)

- Read

- Read & replied

Then I can delete and archive when I want.

The poster is right, iOS takes a screenshot and uses it when switching to your app. The default.png is used only when you first open the app (ie, it was closed).

What happens when you switch orientations? The screenshot/app will show as rotated and rotate to whatever angle the device is currently at.

Coverflow was bought, too.

One of my favorite classes in college was how to build a MIPS processor. How program counters, muxes, ALUs, branch predictors, and such worked blow my mind.

I wish I still had the notebook of my CPU drawing.

They have a very well hidden email upload feature.

It looks like they're still keeping the subtleties of each OS (eg the ICS action bar), just adding they're own styling, icons, branding, and flow on top.

Looks a lot better than apps that just port iOS apps to Android pixel-for-pixel.

I don't think I've ever started a project that I knew how to do backward and front. Every thing I know about iOS programming comes from "oh crap, a client wants this, how do I do it?". Although, it makes every past project look worse and worse every time I start a new one.

Disagree. Some good libraries are C++, so linking to them requires you to use Obj-C++ (at very least, changing the name to *.mm).

They do use eNom as well, that's the one I chose when setting up my account.

It all tastes pretty bad at first, but Adagio has some interesting blends that might make it easy to ease into mate.

To make it easier, and what I did, is to cut out all liquid sugars. No soda, fruit juice, energy drinks, or anything sweeter than water. Took me a few weeks to lose 30 pounds when I drank nothing but water.

I'm in DC, and mostly work for people in CA, so I'm quite used to remote work.

I'm not an Android dev (yet), but does it matter much outside of the UI? Honeycomb isn't open source, so 2.* is all they can use without talking to Google.

Seeing as how Ice Cream Sandwich is meant to better unify the APIs, I don't mind if they skip Honeycomb as long as they do get on track eventually.

I'm guessing the screen resulation will stay the same, just put on a larger screen.

But, this creates a smaller DPI and kind of ruins the retina display.

I believe you can do that via Settings > General.

Blast, I voted wrong (the jump is a bit much). I think my peak was 800MB. Sprint's data history graph makes it look like they charge you over 800MB, but that may just be bad design.

Also, I have "unlimited".

Add a timer with scrollRectToVisible and you've got an iTunes marquee going.
