0.07 KB/S???? Are you okay my dude?!
What do you have lined up?
I don't want to waste any more of my life on this merry go round.
And? Don't leave us hanging. Have you figured out a way to get out of this vicious cycle?
Where do I begin?
I could picture you taking a deep breath before you wrote what came afterwards. I just wanna hug you and cry man! I've been through so much shit because of Azure's weird behaviour at work. Ruined weekends, Late night troubleshooting cos Azure is weirdly broken somewhere and this is not just isolated to one service. I'm talking about databases to app services to AKS to Azure Functions, Blob Triggers what the fuck not. I've had to do weird workarounds for issues which should not even be issues in the first place. Most of the production issues I've had with a fairly fairly complicated clusterfuck of a project was mostly Azure related issues. I don't even know what to think anymore!
I went to the lengths of writing a Log Analytics alert to trigger
I've done this lol. Not for the date issue but something else.
Can someone ELI5 how this works exactly?
I'm surprised nobody has mentioned windows 11
hahahahaha. I needed this today!
This should be a blog post at this point. This was super helpful. Thank you!!!
SQL Server is crappier? How?
Truecaller was a royal PITA when it came to privacy until I figured out how to fuck with the system.
1. Anyone that has your phone number and Truecaller automatically gets you a name:phone_number entry in the Truecaller database. To get around this, I created a Truecaller account using my own phone number on a phone with zero contacts and gave myself a fake name(with my choice of subtle cuss words). This takes priority over other entries in the database. Am not sure if it works that way anymore.
2. Anytime I need to look up a number, I sign in using a dummy gmail account that I have.
There were a good few years where people looked up my number on Truecaller and it showed up a very obscene name that would shock em.
I hate Truecaller so much!
source?
Oh lordy!
That is a very interesting question! I wanna know too.
One of those threads where you can literally choose anything and It would be amazing!!!!!!
Tune interviews to the role at hand. This should be obvious, but for some reason full-stack web devs still have to pretend like dynamic programming is a big part of their daily work.
This personally hurt :)
Completely agree with you on everything you've written.
This thread was like walking into a candy store on a Monday morning! Hearty thanks for all your recommendations. Time to go hoard!!!!!!
What do you suggest instead?
As someone who uses a lot of Apple devices, I agree with you 100%
What's with people going Python is slow and then we have you telling us you've written a computationally intensive portion of your application in python? Can you eli5? I'm very confused.
Checking HN is the very first thing I do after waking up. It has been that way for years now. Amazing community!!!!
How does it undermine credibility?
I've read the book. That chapter talks about what kind of environment initially "trains" the immune system. It does not say anything about viruses such as the ones that common cold being ineffective in doing the same. Please be careful when extrapolating from what's written in a pop science book.
I just took a short look at it and seems very polished. You did it all in 8 months? I'm beyond impressed. Great job dude!!
This sounds as silly as the claim you're refuting.
Can you please provide links to any evidence that it's false? I'm curious.
This looks pretty amazing. Thank you.
I'm 31 and just started learning music a year ago. Ever since I started this is probably the only thing I actually enjoy doing everyday. Is it possible to get to a level of proficiency at this point in life where you get to play good enough you can start getting paid for it?
I thought Supabase was the Open Source Firebase alternative?
they’re wanting champagne work output on a horse piss beer salary
Permission to steal this line?
How do you go about doing that?
