The difference is the planning, I'm building my tool around a collaborative use case. I'm often doing multi day bikepacking trips with my close friends. The planner supports real time collaboration, so multiple people can plan on the same route together.
Also for me it's an experiment in AI driven development (which I hope won't alienate people to much).
In fact they are called "Public GPS Traces" and can be enabled in the OSM layer inspector. I am not sure if anyone started distilling track recommendations from them yet though.

I'm working on something that is best described as Komoot meets Mastodon. Self hostable and federated. It's pretty early, and the UX is pretty bare bones still.

A set of 8 wooden dolls with build in speaker, CPU, Bluetooth and accelerometer.
Singing from a set of ~20 pre programmed songs they "perform" together. Also when you own an OP-1 field (not sure if the original also works) you can join as the conductor and make them sing your own composition (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Pcp0au-IBY).

Thanks for the pointers everybody. They make sense. The frustration of seeing a 299 price tag and then being hit with a 349 price after one click on the store link is bad.. Didn't stop me from buying though :D
I don't know how they do their math, but they advertise it for 299USD but when I open the store it's sold for 349EUR which today converts to 380USD... That's a 30% difference that hurts.

I'm a mobile software engineer with 10 years of experience, working for startups like Soundcloud and established companies like Facebook. I've spent a significant part of my career working for consultancies (even co-founded one) and am looking to get back into the product space.
At my current role I got the chance gaining some people management experience, but I'm not ready to take an EM position just yet. I'm looking for a lead mobile role where I can contribute my experience in the mobile sector, but also my experience working with backend and product teams.

Second, the mixture of yarn and npm in the code snippet shows that the author either didn't understand what they are doing, or does not care to lead with a clean example. It's okay to stick with only npm in a beginners tutorial.
Update: Also, why the Python prerequisite?
Facebook did offer @facebook.com email addresses starting end of 2010 and had them available until I believe 2014.
