This is more related to federal law preemption. The federal agency gave up powers to regulate. Similar to the betting regulation that has been overturned, allowing states to regulate betting.

I have loved Economist, The Intelligence podcast everyday. 20 minutes covering 3 topics with experts.

This was one of my goals in building https://statesreport.com. It won't necessarily be the first site to break news, but the goal is to provide better news based on NLP + ML classification.

I believe this is just under the "Discover" option. When selecting an expiration, it is displayed as Call/Put.

The python scraper base64 encodes all the images, so that data is prepared for the web server. The python library being used is PIL. The CSS is hand-written in a Go template. The goal was to have all the rendering done in a single request, so I choose to embed the CSS and relax the CSP on styles.

It mainly uses RSS feeds versus HTML scraping, but there are a couple of news sources where HTML is required.

The server is written in Go. The news scraper is written in python. I don't have the full list of sites offhand, but I'll try and get back to this comment!
