FYI, that is a long sentence, a few industry jargon lingo that I wasn't familiar with:

"Cisco ThousandEyes is a digital experience assurance (DXA) SaaS platform which applies machine-learning capabilities on top of synthetic active monitoring conducted from points of visibility around the world to surface actionable insights about the performance and reliability of critical applications and network infrastructure and provide customers a way to go from a telescope view to a microscope view of any issue to understand its blast radius and quickly get to MTTI/MTTR."

Archchair business strategist, snippet from the homepage: "Exercism is fun, effective and 100% free, forever"

Business model: "I've lost faith in the nonprofit business model"

Also noting changing in the IT market, tech layoffs, AI revolution, less demand for tech workers.

Hope it will work out for you!

"pandemic that is still ongoing but mostly ignored by global media"

That is good right? Watch the PART 2: https://plandemicseries.com/ (Event 201)

Putin captured media headlines. Speaking of Putin, Russia is probably the only country that benefits from melting Arctic - opening Northwest Passage - figured it out after debating with a bunch of climate change deniers on Twitter.

(I enjoy debating, I had fun doing it, at some point they were quitting, if they were like me they would continue debating)

In all seriousness, I'm working on Metacrisis - a new term reaching mainstream consciousness:

— Runaway climate change + food system + global hunger

— Economic inequality + compound interest + exponential growth on finite planet

— Nuclear proliferation + pandemics + lost trust in media + lost trust in government

— Regulation of AI + polarisation and engagement metrics + mental health

Problem well defined is problem half solved

Once upon a time - corporate environment - budget for learning - I've sent the title of the book and the link - intention to supporting the author.

The PDF was available on the 1st page of Google. At the end we did not complete the purchase - person responsible for shopping sent me pirated copy.

(I hear what you say)

I guess there is no point trying to convince you?

The most important technology since the internet.

Changes the foundation of trust, governance, economy, incentives.

New operating system for humanity.

(and there is no way to stop it, countries who will ban it will go into dark ages while other will prosper)

Majority of my mental energy in relation to drugs, some consideration:

- having a mortgage and life insurance attached to it

- parents prevented contact with their children due to government intervention

- people in jail for possession of drugs

- safe driving limits

- undoing 50+ years of propaganda and social conditioning

Our understanding is that much of this activity, which is critical to protecting children and fighting terrorism, will no longer be possible if Facebook implements its proposals as planned.

Here is some legislation from 2000: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Regulation_of_Investigatory_Po...

Critics claim that the spectres of terrorism, internet crime and paedophilia were used to push the act through and that there was little substantive debate in the House of Commons.

20 years in life of internet is a lot. Same arguments. Remarkable.

Just from the past couple of months:

"Shutting down digital infrastructure in response to a peaceful protest is deeply authoritarian," said Griff Ferris, legal and policy officer at Big Brother Watch."

I've heard they did not shut down internet in Hong Kong as lots of mainland China is routed via Hong Kong...
