It is loading again. With a message at the top saying "Quay Container Registry is currently in read-only mode. Pulls and other read-only operations will succeed but all other operations are currently suspended."

This is the follow-up to our 2024 State of Platforms report. We ran the same survey twice, in late 2023 and late 2025, to track how platform engineering is evolving across the Norwegian public sector. The 2026 wave captured 45 organizations representing approximately 240,000 public sector employees and organizational budgets totaling 2.5 trillion NOK.

Glad to see fish getting some shout outs here. Been using it for over ten years now, and it is super easy to get going on new hosts - it is just one simple install away.

For us it is a matter of building trust and allowing others to help if they choose so. We don’t expect many outside contributions.

The Labor and Welfare Administration (NAV) of the Norwegian government is doing exactly that, we have been opening up our code since 2018 and are accepting pull requests across our 2000 public repositories from those who want to improve government services https://github.com/navikt this has also enabled a much more close collaboration between new and existing partners that was previously unheard of!

For me it is how one person can suddenly own an entire social network and dictate the rules as he likes or dislikes. Mastodon it self is more open, the server you choose to sign up to might have content policies in place.
