Yeah, I remember that option - basic tier of DTU DB with 250GB of storage - free for one year, then continue for $15/m.

When the client brought some 3rd party expert and he advised rewriting to MySQL, I quickly did the math and it was like $60/m, without a free year.

We continued with DTU MSSQL with Prisma ORM and never regreted.

Can you add a recent build of llama.cpp (arm64) to the results pool? I'm really interested in comparing mlx to llama.cpp, but setting up the mlx seems too difficult for me to do by myself.

Well, in that case, why not build a hybrid—a low-orbit satellite network synced to a few ground bases that will give the exact position of flying over satellite(s)?

Building a network of a very tall tower every 58km around a globe of the Moon seems very uneconomic.

To me it doesn’t look like a bug. I believe it is a intended “feature” pushed from high management - a dark patern to make plebs pay for answer that has overflowed the quota.

What a great achievement of our society. Inventing a financial instrument to buy and sell debts.

I believe it is just outdated/not-updated. Atleast in DnB scene I can tell it is missing the recent "flavour" of liquid (melodic DnB with nice, mostly female vocals, see latest Subfocus album), or Crossbreed, very hard flavour od DnB, represented for example by Counterstrike.

Since the last update of the Google Chrome, the downloads are not indicated via bottom panel anymore. Instead there is a small icon in the top-rigth toolbar. It reveals a list of downloads when clicked.

The idea of FIDO2 with HW tokens is great, but not practical if you don't own atleast 2 pieces: - one constantly inserted into main working machine - second somewhere with the keys, ready to be used on other devices

You should be having third one - backup token stored securely in the safe or vault. That is $150 investment just to do it right.

And then - not all webapps allow to register more that one FIDO2 device, which totally cancels the above best practises.

My YT frontpage was getting progressively worse. What seems to help me was to "restart the Youtube" - deleting all "not interested" signals I accumulated over years. Also deleting all dislikes too.

Click History on left panel, on the new page that loads, click MANAGE ALL HISTORY on right panel. On the next page, delete dislikes and YouTube "Not interested" feedback.

After that my YT homepage got lot better.

Exactly. After first sentence I immediatelly switched into "scan mode". I was'nt able to find the answer for the question in the title. I was even not able to identify a section where the answer could be burried in.

In country I’m living in (Czechia), there are two major “social hubs” right now:

- Backend developers are pretty active on Slack [1] - Frontend developers on the other hand are active in Facebook group [2]

Most of the discussion is held in czech and slovak languages, but if you start conversation in english, everybody will happily write you back.

There is also another, not that easy to get into, but more global hub - Toptal’s Slack. To get into Slack, you must be part of Toptal platform, which is itself a remote job platform (you find jobs there). There is channel for every country in Toptal’s Slack. I share my referal link to Toptal onboarding [3]
