What exactly are these advantages?

I came here to share the exact same thing - this has been happening for weeks now and it is extremely frustrating. Have to constantly tell Claude to rewrite the artifact from scratch or write it from scratch into a new artifact. This needs to be a priority item to fix.

To opt out of sharing your telemetry data in Kiro, use this procedure:

Piggybacking on this comment, what about alternatives for good/basic shared hosting? (i.e., PHP, MySQL, etc.) I've got a few WP sites that I maintain where I need keep something reliable, secure/trusted, and relatively low-cost.

You can do this easily (and for free) via Cloudflare [1]. Works great, I've been using it across several domains for quite some time. Migrated from Google.

I have heard similar things from friends that use it on iOS but on Android, I haven't missed any call I was expecting. Even when I've lost connection to data (e.g., in an elevator or something) and a call was made, at least I see the missed call notification after my data was restored. Fongo is another option for a Canadian option.

I think TextNow offers a better solution and I've been using it to do this for quite some time and it doesn't require any kind of forwarding. I can send/receive calls and messages directly from within its app and recycle numbers at any time - all for free (ad supported). Calls are of great quality too and it even includes voicemail. If I really like a number and want to lock it (to also receive 2FA codes), it's a yearly $7 fee. Works with area codes in US and Canada.

I think there are other options like Fongo and probably a dozen other similar services that already have been doing this for some time. Not really seeing the value proposition of going with the Mozilla option here. Am I missing something?

This has existed in Canada for a very long time via Interac e-Transfers and it doesn't cost anything. You can send money instantly from one bank to any other bank. You do this by sending to someone's email or phone number. The recipient can setup auto-deposit so the money is deposited instantly. For this reason, Venmo, Cash App, etc. makes no sense in Canada either.

Definitely trust rtings. They buy every product in store to do their testing.

I recently moved all emails on personal domains to Cloudflare Email Routing [1]. It works flawlessly and you can setup ProtonMail or whatever other email you want as your private address that everything gets forwarded to without having to reveal what the destination address is.

For sending email, I setup an SMTP relay via Amazon SES. If you verify your domain, you can send an email from any alias.

This combination works great!

Happy customer of Cloudflare Email Routing - it works exceptionally well. I've paired it with Amazon SES for the occasional time I need to send emails from custom domain.

I've used Name.com for many years and have been very happy, but recently switched basic shared hosting from another provider to Gandi.net and got exposed to their backend and tools. I am now considering transferring my domains over as they come up for renewal; been very impressed!

I think what you mean by "travel outside the USA" might be "travel in Europe". I'd bet that you'd get more recognition of the Lakers in, say, China than any of those Premier League teams.

Hard disagree on this one. It is in fact "outside the USA" because globally (not just in Europe), English Premier League teams like Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham, etc. are extremely popular, especially in China.

Soccer is the most popular sport in the world and is now arguably the 4th most popular sport in the US placing it ahead of NHL (Ice Hockey) and it is fast expanding in reach and popularity across the country. Part of the reason for this is that it is generally a very accessible sport to both play and watch as a spectator. Even for the casual attendee, it provides a fun atmosphere to experience - you don't need to be a hardcore fan to enjoy it.

The most recent expansion team, Austin FC, sold out 100% of every home game in their inaugural season with an average of 20k+ attendees in a privately-funded city-owned stadium.

Lol no, a professional sports team is of little "joint benefit to society", at least not of the kind that seriously concerns the government. You may as well argue that the government should be subsidizing new Marvel movies, or Call of Duty, because those are popular forms of entertainment too.

Local governments do subsidize movie production with all sorts of funding and grants. In addition to the local population, many people travel to cities where sports matches, concerts, and other events (e.g., conventions, auto shows, etc.) are held in the stadiums. This also affects other businesses in the city that benefit from the spending done by those that travel into the cities.

Plenty of high prestige world cities like Tokyo or London or Paris aren't known for their pro sports teams. They seem to suffer little for it.

Every major "high prestige world city" as you describe is a hub for multiple sports and various tournaments that invites both local and international crowds.

I did exactly this literally last week with the combination Cloudflare Email Forwarding to receive emails and Amazon SES as an SMTP relay to send emails (from any address) on my domains. Works exceptionally well and moving away from my legacy G Suite has been seamless, and one less account to login to.

One feature I would love for Cloudflare to add is the ability to Reject emails to specific addresses. Drop works as an alternative because it doesn't deliver the email, but still validates that the address exists. Having Reject as an option will tell the sender that this address is invalid.

I recently setup Cloudflare email forwarding to receive emails in various mailboxes depending on the address, and use SES to send mail.

My guess would be to hoard goods while they can since the prices continue going up.
