Check out Cranky Geeks on YouTube, classic John C.
Am I the only one that saw Wyze and thought Wyse? Guess I'm old.
Classic comment
I'll never forget discovering the third track of Monty Python's Matching Tie and Handkerchief, thought I'd lost my mind.
As an Eno fan I'm not familiar with the mentioned album.
King Crimson would put hidden messages printed in the vinyl inner track, I remember seeing "The next step is Discipline", which was their next album.
I also miss the thriving bootleg community, picture discs.
Epitaph on the same album gets more relevant every day.
Knowledge is a deadly friend When no one sets the rules. The fate of all mankind I see Is in the hands of fools.
I highly recommend NIGHTFALL from CBC. https://archive.org/details/Nightfall-cbc-oldTimeRadio
Newer vintage, 80's, excellent productions
I'm not OP, but I'm sure he's talking Sony, I did a similar boycott (rootkit on Sony music CD's), but recently bought WH-1000XM3 and the NC is phenomenal, battery life is very good; very comfortable and lightweight; not sure I could sleep with them on though.
and Drumming
and Come Out
Drumming is fascinating to watch players perform
Come Out has amazing analog audio tape phasing
I see an older model with 1300Pa suction available at $219; the current 1500Pa I see at $249
more likely to get a used returned item being sold as new; I bought an expensive water filter cartridge from AMZ and got shipped one that was obviously used. Somebody probably bought a new one, then returned their current used one. AMZ refunded money without question tho. You could get a new vac with a spent expensive battery pretty easily.
I wish the didn't use Sucralose in their protein bars; or even stevia, it's like a bad aftertaste on top of a bad aftertaste.
Copyright question, the copyright page says draft published 12/29/2018, but the copyright is 2019; doesn't that mean somebody could have taken the work, published as their own as copyright 2018 on 12/30/2018 which would be earlier than the author's 2019 claim? I'm not a copyright expert by any means, but am always troubled when I see "Copyright $CURRENT_DATE" in electronic works, I thought it was supposed to reflect the earliest date of claim.
Forgot I have a copy of that, need to go dig it up; found lots of new music to listen to thanks to it.
I saw the same thing for the only Adirondack entry on the list; there's on spot that is technically private property surrounded by wilderness that probably drops the distance in half. Sure somebody could put a road there, but the effort would be insane.
odd the "proper" spelling yields not quite the same results, Hawaii disappears

Output to a bluetooth speaker or headphone jack that wasn't audible?). And that can be fixed.
Not sure how to fix that, if you use the aux out it has no way of knowing what happens on the other end; a confirmation prompt that isn't heard could still pick up an errant "Ok" response. Perhaps require a PIN like the shopping confirmation that would make it much much more unlikely? Or better yet, disable messaging as an option.
could be picking up a bounced audio if it close to a wall or other surface.
the joys of frameset
Agreed, but it does say "© 2018 Time Inc. All Rights Reserved" at the bottom, that enough of an About page for me.
I'm not qualified to answer so I will. Electronics.stackexchange.com, not analog only obviously but good q&a spot like all the se sites, even with the occasional crank. Chat room too.
I've got the scars, 123, Symphony, Quattro, Paradox, Excel, Access, dBase II, III, IV, Lotus Notes.....OLE!
Surely I'm not the only one that remembers someone doing this with Lotus 1-2-3 in the 80's...how far we've come. What's next, a database in a spreadsheet? Word processor? Modem application?
