Thank you for your reply, and yes you are right, but I want to achieve is an app you could use on your smartphone that can show photos (and later videos) that have been taken in the place you are standing, in other words, you can see what happened when you weren't there.

In the beginning I was thinking about photos and videos, later I decided to focus on pictures then wait and see. If things go well with the pictures, definitely going to do the videos as well, if it doesn't, well I tried.

if you take a picture at the mall, the picture stays at the mall, and other people that go to that mall will see the picture.

The site is using Html5 tags, that's why you get that. Yeah, to just look on others pictures of where you already are isn't that fun or interesting, but we think it might be useful to see pictures of community meetups, sport or musical events, not all the people can assist to an event, Sqardius allows users to see what others have seen before.

If you do find it not interesting at all, please tell us why. Maybe we can do better.

We have just launched our beta version today, so we are starving for feedbacks like yours. One of the reasons we have launched as soon as we could is to deal with the empty base problem, and I want to let you know that this is only the basic features.

I'm not an expert in the field ( yet ), but from my own point of view and experience,

1- To start developing in android, if you don't know Java, you should first learn Java (it's not obligatory but highly recommended), if you are willing to learn Java and if you can understand French, I recommend SiteDuZero.com, it's really helpful as they start from scratch, and by the way there are lot of courses about almost everything.

2- I've always used Eclipse, I don't know if it's the best, but I've never had the need to look for something else.

3- No one can answer this question, it's up to you to know your strengths and weaknesses, but I think that for example: 4 hours in a row is better than 2 hours in 2 days.

Like AznHisoka said, there is a lots of apps that people need and want, but no one gives them attention, if you have a big company like Google, Apple .etc, you don't need something people want, you just put your name on it and it's sold. Just building something people want is not enough.
