Hey Team, working on a project that makes it easier to track time on Mac.

- There's a desktop app tracking the title bar and time you spend in each app. - You can use this 100% free, or sync this back to https://heygopher.ai to match the time up with your active projects. - if you use HeyGopher you can manage your time, team, projects, quotes and invoices.

This pairs pretty well with my normal project https://goodsign.io which is a Docusign alternative that is pay as you go. No subscription.

Loving how well Ghostty works and looks. When running several Projects I need quite a few tabs as all these AI agents take sometime to complete. Overhead tabs get real messy very quickly. Multiple windows become a nightmare quickly. Side bar tabs have been my solution.

I love iTerms sidebar tabs - I add emojis to mine for my key projects and any subtask just lives under the master tab like a folder.

Would love to see sidebar tabs - or it sounds like I can code my own.

i just texted Karl to say he’s on the front page of HN. I was the same. Charles was soo good for ol AMF!! Still miss Flash.

From James Hoffmann he recommends 2 minutes. If I recall correctly waiting longer did slightly improve the results but after 2 minutes you get a good brew. https://aeroprecipe.com/recipes/james-hoffmann-aeropress-rec...

I like the button idea. 1. I'd love to see it battery powered. 2. I found a vape thing yesterday - I would love to see a battery from a Vape re-used if possible. 3. Lastly - based on a project I'm trying to do now. Can you somehow sleep the microcontroller so it uses no power while in standby and then starts the timer, so you have close to indefinite battery life?

It's awesome to see so many people look at the pricing table. I can see $1.50 price is just not clear enough. I'll work on making this clearer.

spending around a quarter million dollars a month on Docusign

That's also how I felt. I find big SaaS companies do so much to make sure you're fully locked in and they don't make it simple.

Informally - from the customers I've talked to, GoodSign is a huge saving on their Docusign bill.

I'll work on making a better pricing page.

The others don't do a document cost, so it does make it much harder to compare.

The others just have a document limit, eg Docusign has a 100 document limit per user. Docusign has a really high cost per user (I don't charge for users, only for sends).

So it is harder to compare apples with apples – at the end of the day GoodSign is just that simple. $1.50 per send, unlimited users : )

I choose 6 – because that's about the typical team size I see with GoodSign. So that feels like a good comparison.

Thanks for pointing the pricing out - it really is that terrible! Hence why I built a product I would buy and I could understand. : )

Preview works great for one people signing. Not so helpful for people sending. GoodSign helps businesses to make sure that when the send a contract it does get signed and they don't forget about it (GoodSign keeps reminding you to sign). It allows two different people to sign at the same time and it doesn't matter what order. The document is saved forever, securely so you don't lose it.

Appreciate the feedback - you probably could do something much simpler for NDA. I don't really think you need a signature, a check box would be good enough in your survey saying they've agreed to your NDA.

GoodSign works really well for multiple signers, employment contracts and small to medium startups that are want a better signing tool and document management - but don't feel like the high prices of other tools is justified.

I got so upset with Docusign being too expensive and unfair, that I quit my last startup to build a new one.

I built a complete platform over the past 3 years, that doesn't require a subscription and you only pay for what you send. Give it a go if you need to send a document that needs to be signed.

yeah sounds nuts, but it's probably not from selling the watch, but their value will be in learning about how to make lower power small electronics for someone else is my guess. But on the face of it, doesn't make sense.

Probably some really simple sales advice. Don't try and sell the product/solution to the customer. Sell the customer to the product. That means show the customer that their immediate needs can be easily meet by your product. That's it. They dont need your full solution yet.

Use the scale button to resize vectors to a radically different size. It will resize you borders and shadows correctly. Or Edit > Scale. By default you don't want you shape boarder size changing when you resize. So sketch uses the scale button to fix this. Awesome.
