I created https://codebunk.com. Its an Online Interviewing Tool for developers. Its the best tool out there. It provides code execution in 23 languages, collaborative editor, REPL shells, AV Text chat, Teams, Question banks and a lot more.

Its cash flow positive and has some of the coolest clients.

However, the rate at which it acquires new customers is pretty low (~3/month). I have exhausted (or nearly exhausted) avenues of generating buzz (PH, HN, Reddit, some tech publications). As a developer without any help, how do I promote CodeBunk further? What's the best way to reach my audience (Hiring Mangers, CTOs)?

If you are not impressed, ignore. If you smell something fishy about the developer, call it out (Giving benefit of doubt wherever possible. For eg, the developer could have started to code a week ago, or he wrote the translator in 1 hour flat. All admirable acievements). Just don't be evil.

Of course, expecting HNers to be intelligent enough so that the obvious utilities don't need to be spelled out will be wrong. If you don't spoon feed us, we will talk trash.

Oh cmon. Why can't programming be just fun. Why this obsession with great programmer and expert coders and the likes. Just pick a problem and hack away. Most importantly, have fun.

Every week I come across at least 10 articles telling people about what makes a great programmer. Sometimes its test code, sometimes its some concoction of agile or xp etc, other times its about functional and oop.

Let it rest guys. Just go and hack.

I don't remember the last time I used anything except iPython. I use EC2 a lot, and the first thing I do after firing an instance is install ipython, even if I don't intend to use the instance for python related stuff at all.
