I ended up with the same approach. I used to do my idle browsing on both, the PC and the phone. In an earlier bout of productivity (many moons ago) I blocked all the usual suspects on my PC. That was several years (and PCs) ago - but there's now never an inclination to hop over to those sites on the PC and the "missing out" feeling isn't there since I can check 'em on the phone (later). For whatever reason, it feels more like goofing off when I'm on the phone, so there's a slight aversion to doing that during the regular day.

Agreed, not much to be gained from dissecting the joke itself. Though reading through the tweets, the range of interpretations/misunderstandings is kinda amusing. Also people gettin' close to peeved that what they beleive is the catholic interpretation of the joke is not apparent to everyone else.

Hear hear, I wondered if I was alone in this. There's shows I'd watch and even (as far as I can tell) enjoy, but after a few episodes, I'd skip to Wikipedia for a summary so i didn't have to spend a couple weeks just watching. And it's only over the last 5 years or so. No idea what happened to my attention span.

Very cool - I'd never heard the term paregoric and I assumed it was perhaps the class of drugs used for slowing diarrhea (like say, Loperamide). I'd never have thought literal tincture of opium would have that use. (Also, now that I've looked it up Loperamide is also an opioid agonist and likely capitalizes on some of the same effects).
