I am not aware of any specific studies that focus on a 30/30 cycle, but there's plenty of research that suggests taking regular breaks is good for you.

The ideal work-break routine is about the work you do, if you control your own time and, of course, what suits you best. For me, I’ve discovered that routine tasks, like writing documentation, do well with a 30-30 cycle. However, when I’m working on problem definition, such as programming and especially debugging, I need more focused time, but I do make sure to take a regular break every hour.

There is one significant thing that C has and C++ has not; a stable ABI. This is particularly important if you want to create a library that can be shared and used by everyone. You cannot do that with C++ without a lot of caveats. Google, for instance, forbid creating libraries in C++ for good reasons. Creating a C++ library with a C ABI sounds stupid. I.e. if the library’s functions and types can be presented as simple C, you have already folded down to C and C++ is just an implementation detail and you will probably also have to static link libstdc++. That’s no longer a small, simple library anymore. The stable ABI makes C also famously easy to include and inter opt with other languages and frameworks. Swift for example can easily utilize C libraries and code but cannot inter opt with C++ (yet, apparently it’s wip)

Really, for your company's sake I hope what matters is not what you like, but that your company has a payment solution that does not stop working when Stripe freezes your account. Yeah, Stripe is not an iota better than PayPal when it comes to freezing accounts. The only sane thing to do is to have a backend system that at minimum can use both PayPal and Stripe. With such a system it should be easy to change between PayPal and Stripe and I suggest that we all shutdown the Stripe part to show our discontent.

No, this is infuriating, but we must not forget that they “built an ML engine to automatically optimize bla bla bla.” But really, pretense should be off. Stripe is nothing more than a PayPal clone. Yes, consider the following scenario, Using some political pretence, China invade Taiwan in a blitzkrieg which is over in a few days. All US communications and GPS are wiped out before the attack begins. Total chaos. Allies are blind. Any US forces in the vicinity trying to prevent the attack are obliterated. Next days China issue the following decree, Taiwan has joined the motherland and all regrettable attacks on US forces have stopped and a ceasefire is in effect. Any attack on China and Taiwan will be meet with nuclear forces. What will US and Nato do? What did they do when Russia elbowed itself into the Syrian conflict? That's right, nothing.

The point is, any serious attack done by China will be over before US an allies can stop it or reply properly, unless there is a believable rapid response force on location.

That might sound good to you, but not to your users. Please put it in a sandbox and on the MAS. There is no reason for a calculator to _not_ run in a sandbox. Discoverability and sales will probably improve as well on the App Store. I for one, would purchase in an instance, whereas now the only purchase option is a paddle (sic) preorder button.
