Well, what a about detailed study? Quoting from abstract:

"Microsoft’s continuing inability to correctly fix errors is discussed. No statistical procedure in Excel should be used until Microsoft documents that the procedure is correct; it is not safe to assume that Microsoft Excel’s statistical procedures give the correct answer. Persons who wish to conduct statistical analyses should use some other package."

I thought this girl does an incredibly good job educating via modern media.

I wonder how hard would it be to measure their mathematical properties, like fractal dimension. Perhaps using image processing tools. I heard the simple box counting method is not perfect for complex natural structures. Does anyone know any published algorithms?

I also gave link to the original article. PhysOrg also gives link to the original article and cites a few other sources. I thought in this particular cases it was fine as an overview article.

That's BTW an old Russian idea.
