I think it's better not to let them use ChatGPT, for kid they need to learn to think in their own way, but obviously ChatGPT will spoil it, you will always get the answer from ChatGPT, you don't need to think or do some search work, because ChatGPT will give you a answer

Maybe some of you don't actually know how bad will it be if 996 spreads, the 996 things don't only ruin your life and break the WLB but the most worse thing is it's the start of the vicious circle. For the developer self, you have to push your self working more hours because the other co-worker are working more hours For the company, the company will prefer who worked more hours because most of the management just simply thinks more hours represent more output For this industry, well because a lot of developers work more hours this means normally a task you could do it in two days back in WLB instead it will be done in one day now, and this will eventually become the company needs 100 developers back days, now they only need 50 developers. and this will become the start of involution

I'm in the same position as you, and you are better than me because I already get layoff. It seems like all the company wants talented developers to work for them and makes us feel talented developers are everywhere.

I'm so sorry to make you feel passive or aggressive, I don't mean it sincerely. Seems like my English still has a lot to learn, I admit that I'm not a talented developer, if WLB work is only provided for the talented developer in China, then I think I have met no one in my life. Thanks for your reply and advice anyway.

Yes, I have thought of you for what you have mentioned, I do want to experience different things and work with different cultures, life is so short there are a lot of things we have not seen. And thanks for telling me the LinkedIn, I already find a lot of remote jobs there, and I will try for it.

Why I don't find it in China? Maybe you don't know we have the 996(work from 9 am to 9 pm and six-day of a week) culture in all most every IT company in China, and I don't like it, this makes life full of work that's so bad. So the main reason I choose Europe is because at least the companies from there are not like it in China. Why I don't find it in the US, the main problem is the timezone, there is almost 12 hours time difference between China and US, but if there is any suitable job, I'd like to apply too. Talking about money, I lived in a small city in China, so I don't have too much pressure on money, more I wanted is work-life balance.

We don't use any specific process, but like the people who use scrum our goal are still to make our development more smooth and efficient, the leader assign tasks through Trello, after we get our tasks we will evaluate it by ourselves, it we have any problems with this task then we will have to discuss with the PO or our leader, if there is none then we start to work on it. after we finished it we will move it to Done status the QA will test it if they got time, after QA finished the testing the PO will check it aging, if noting wrong then it will go production. I have used scrum once, I don't know if it is the scrum's problem or it's the one who use it, just don't give me a good impression.
