Your entire argument boils down to the fact that it's hard to view git blames. It's not.

As stated by other people, IDEs like VSCode and IntelliJ do an extremely good job of showing the blame. And they DO show the entire commit, body and everything at once.

A simple experiment would be to have someone else write down a number on a piece of paper while you weren't in that room, have you do your OBE thingy and then accurately tell that number several times.

IMO if you can't even access contacts that's a pretty big problem. Besides the point is to show the fragility of the ecosystem. We had an AWS shut down a few weeks ago and it shut down major parts of the internet.

I've heard a lot about KeePass, but never really tried it. My main goal with a password manager was that it should just work and be realiable, and Bitwarden seems to fill in the need at the moment.
