Except this company is brand new and 100% skipped the ceo and cmo steps.

I’d rather have an NP 10 times out of ten for primary care
A lot of internal stuff ends up on Oracle cloud since it’s easier, jira, confluence, etc
You can’t really expect insurance companies to identify and support policies in areas where many homes may be at huge risk of flooding, while another has zero.
That’s massive operational overhead and is definitely not as simple as looking at elevation, and that overhead is reasonably not worth it for those companies.
I would pretty much disagree with everything here.
Paying off a 3% mortgage means you could not invest that money, which would return 7% on average or like 10+% recently. That is a lot of lost money.
Anyone whos not L5 at bigtech cannot afford any home on a cash basis. That’s not a realistic bar.
That being said, insurance is wildly different by state and location and it sounds like it royally sucks in Texas.
That support quote is from an LLM. If you have any escalation paths (twitter, or this thread lol) there may still be a way to change it back.
Omeprazole is not great long term FYI - worth talking to your doctor or getting a second opinion to discuss.
I’m going to need a wrapper for all these services offering this service.
I don’t know on perfect shuffles but for the sloppy shuffles, the deck is cut at a random location between each shuffle.
Upper limit of 14. I’m curious then - when playing cards with friends we start with a semi -random, but definitely clumped, deck. It gets shuffled a couple times.
How random is that deck? How many “cold spots” does it have? Just how not random of decks are people playing with, and ultimately does that even matter if players lack the knowledge or skill to change their play because of that knowledge?
They are, eng makes 600k/yr and I make 2, so their times is worth triple mine. It’s cost effective to make me toil and drown in frustration if it reduces ticket volume.

I’m not familiar with the project, but can anyone clarify what it means that it’s not intended to be used standalone and instead built into other projects? What’s the intention / expectation?
I spend at least 6 hours a week arguing with bots owned by other teams, as I’m unable to reach a human before I bypass their bot. 10k person company, clients are paying for my time.
Agreed - this shifts large single time purchases into MRR which looks way better to investors.
Artists want to make art, not sit on the phone coordinating with venues, vendors, promoters, insurance, marketing, etc.
Classic dell to compete on tech specs, but miss the idea of what makes Apple what it is.
I don’t need a neo, but I would get one because the hardware is the absolute best quality, and everything works with little to no issues. I don’t want windows hello, I want the metal body, great keyboard, screen, etc.
I like windows way better than macOS, but Mac hardware only ever is comparable to windows surface for me.
A 30% increase in one year, across only 3 companies, seems like a of a stretch. Especially given current economic/etc climates.
7/11 has always had hot pizza, fried chicken, rollers, etc in my area?
3rd pvp round is 852 and seems quite difficult
Fun! On iOS I can drag numbers into my battle team - it tries to refresh the page when I drag outside a very short range.
Edit - refresh fixed it?
I’ll solve the second to last one for you! I know multiple people who had Covid, and very quickly died, of Covid.
Moving money is not free, and managing payments/etc can be a huuge headache. Sometimes it’s easy, but sometimes it’s not.
Two interesting replies:
It’s not a physical painting made by a well known artist.
It’s trying to hard to be a late Monet.
How much of our opinions are driven by context, rather than the actual subject? If Monet’s work is not so great without the context, is it still great? Or is context a critical piece of the art itself? Do we need to view a Monet piece within the scope of other Monet pieces, other artists, time periods, blindness, etc?
Agreed - 75% of the front line managers I’ve had are pure managers without any domain/company/industry knowledge
I fairly obviously meant outside of this specific instance, if pollution etc were policed and responded to in such a manner.
Imagine if environmental regulation, pollution, etc looked like this.
What is sco?
Impressive idea and fun execution. Graphics are fun and interesting! I don’t play word games, besides when the wife needs crossword help so I’m not much help with actual gameplay feedback.
The UX is a bit wonky in the classic vibe coded way.
1. When clicking send there is no clear indication what’s happened. The trak should visually lock, the send button should animate, etc. 2. After sending a trak, I can select letters - but this is a seemingly pointless state. No trak is selected, so letters don’t go there. Clicking swap resets my tile selection and I need to reselect the letters. 3. Swap phase feels odd - why do I need to confirm my hand? Can’t I just either play, or swap and then play.
Otherwise - I’ve found some of my favorite games have a strong sense of satisfaction in small ways. Like number go up, but visual or audio. IE if I manage to fill a trak with all letters, play a nice animation. And for each longer trak, make that animation even more satisfying. (Or something similar - reward me when I get good at the game with something rare and dank that I will crave)
For clarity, absolutely nobody did or does this. Spirit is bottom of the barrel cheap - it made flying accessible for many people, who otherwise would not fly (think Ryan air). Absolutely nobody was interstate day tripping, especially on spirt, besides this poster.
Barriers to entry. If I want to make a small forum, these laws make that potentially much more difficult. Now users who may have used my forum may spend more time on facebook instead.
Multiply that times tens of thousands of new sites not being created, tens of thousands of existing sites no longer existing or being accessible due to new laws, this occurring over multiple surfaces (content moderation, age verification, etc) and the positive impact for meta is meaningful.
If there are less sites, meta wins.
