I'd like to offload a required security software to a stand-alone device that exposes the software endpoints directly to the host via PCIe. The goal would be to ensure that if an attacker gets into the host, they are unable to modify the security software or limit its functionality.

Ideally the card would have a TPM module and supports some sort of signed boot/firmware validation.

The console bans should be investigated cause that’s a strong signal that the software is just wrong.

This sadly is a bad idea, as it’ll get your entire store account banned (Steam, battle.net, etc). Chargebacks work great until the whole account matters.

My experience differs. The right leaning members of my family strongly support Russia and the left leaning strongly support Ukraine. It’s caused a lot of strife in my family. And I don’t think the right folks feel like they’re on the fringe. They do watch a lot of Fox, but they’re not Q folks, afaik at least.

I'm surprised that this article doesn't even mention the ongoing, continual attacks on the civilian Ukrainian electrical grid, in a concerted effort to take it out with thousands of cruise missiles and loitering drones.

I would guess that it was an intentional decision to avoid. Grady goes to great lengths to prevent anything political in his videos, and the Ukrainian war happens to be politically charged in America currently.

Cisco’s meraki has that built into their devices. I run meraki in my home and have it enabled and it’s pretty powerful. If you see a wifi network, it most certainly can track you and if it’s not a residential network, I assume it is.

I’ve never had a corporate card in my entire career, including Twitter. I’ve been able to book via a company provided travel agency, but I’ve never had the card in my hands.

I think he's made a major mis-step with twitter though.

SpaceX/Tesla employees work as hard as they do because they believe in the mission of the company. They're willing to just buckle down and do amazing things beyond most people.

Twitter had a lot of normal employees, however, it also already had the true believers in the mission. Those people don't seem to have bought Musk's vision and they're leaving the company. He wanted to get just down to those folks, but I think by and large, they're gone. I don't know that he can recover from that mis-step. He needed to come in, explain his vision and got the true believers onboard before he cleaned house IMHO.

Really, I have multiple end profiles that are possible.

1. My phone 2. My wife's phone 3. My Tablet 4. My TV

They each have different screen geometries and even my tablet has two profiles really, local streaming at home or playing downloaded media on trips.

So I could transcode everything to 5 different formats and store it, or just transcode on demand and not worry about it.

I bought a GPU to get smooth 4k sources streaming to my devices.

I personally decided the structure of a in person job was beneficial and went back to a in the office job twice a week rather then the full remote opportunity I was at. I need that framework to be mentally and physically fit.

It seems like a refusal to go off of the “None-Working Notice” would be treated the same as any other refusal to follow assignments and it would make legal sense that it would turn to a termination rather then layoff.

I run little snitch and block all outgoing connections from my mail client except the imap/smtp ones. It shocked me that my company’s HR emails included tracking to see if I opened them!

Just playing dumb might not be enough of a reason if you actually open it.
