Spock Spock the baby doc

Leads a peace March around the block

Around him, everywhere you look

You see kids he messed up with his book.

-- Rhyme from Mad Magazine, circa 1970s

"Napalm, son. Nothing else in the world smells like that. I love the smell of napalm in the morning. You know, one time we had a hill bombed for 12 hours. When it was all over, I walked up. We didn't find one of 'em, not one stinkin' d*k body. The smell, you know that gasoline smell? The whole hill. Smelled like... victory. Someday, this war's gonna end."

PHP Is 30 1 year ago

Happy birthday PHP. With you I've made a very good living. Here's to many more years...

I don't know how valid the article is, but speaking of securities fraud, I now read that DOGE is interested in the "Sudden Wealth" of so many congresscritters. I'd be interested in that as well.

Your post has great insight. I would just take ever so slight exception to your final paragraph based on two physicians I know that are 8n bad shape medically through no fault of their own. ;-)

This is another post that makes me so angry about what they did unleashing covid on the world!

I walk through that lobby shown in the first image maybe 3 or more times a week, multiple times a day. None of those great food kiosks shown are there anymore and so many more that are out of camera shot are gone as well.

The Pedway has become a filthy dirty mess in disrepair and reeking of powerful weed, and fresh human feces and urine.

It's definitely a Godsend in the dead of winter and a great place to get exercise walking to and fro after sitting in front of a computer screen all day. But hell, it could be so much better and could server so many more people.

I've done this, in a way, for years!

My biggest problem in the morning is just getting going. I work better late in the afternoon and into the evening. So often, I've left a final compile or commit undone so I can just "quickly" do it in the morning out of necessity or, at times, sheer anxiety.

When I get this done in the morning, then I'm in the game so to speak.
