this!

TikTok regularly leaves me inspired, and across many different creative realms: Amazing makeup, mindblowing parkour, beautiful original music and eye opening covers. Oh and some of the short comedy sketches have left me thoroughly incapacitated due to laughter. The list goes on for me.

In general, I'm happier after viewing, even when the "you should stop watching too much TikTok guy" comes on.

Yep, these are awesome! I'm typing on #82 of the first model01 run and it's the first keyboard I can mash on all day without fatigue. I've tried a happy hacker keyboard a maltron, one of the microsoft ergo keyboards, several corsairs and the model01 has bested them all from my experience. For me the killer app was being able to remap the large function buttons (under the meaty part of both thumbs) to the enter and shift keys. Those changes coupled with having the escape key activated with an index finger seriously changed my life. From what I'm reading in the other comments there are other keyboards that might allow the same type of mods but I honestly stopped looking once I got this one. Yeah, I'm a total fanboy, and it should be said that there are folks who were not able to get used to the layout, but for me it was worth the investment.

I enjoyed this article and I'm glad I took the time to read it. Did I learn about some new framework? No. Will I get ahead in the rat race because of it? Unlikely. Though I do feel enriched because of it. I was there when Walt shouted at Jonathan. I was there when Jonathan found out about Gail's death. Maybe I'm alone in finding the utility of an article like this. It wasn't rubbish nor poorly written. It was just right.

I completely agree. Rdio is the first music streaming site that really pulled me in. The clean design is pleasant and the multi-device support is superb. The autoplay functionality has introduced me to a ton of excellent music I didn't even know existed. I suppose other sites do the same thing but they never got me in the door like Rdio did.

A note to myself 13 years ago

Spot on! I kept an idea to myself for a couple years and finally committed to it by telling people about it. And not just sharing but actually saying this is my next "job." Then I rented a desk and hired a designer and "the pressure" has made me happier than any other professional time in my life. I'm not finished but I have momentum...

This topic is so hot in the community it's hard resisting the urge to weigh in. That being said I don't think I can add much to the particular direction the current conversation is going.

But given that I gave in to the urge to comment I do want to say this: Good job Heather! Keep up the coding and continue to have fun doing what you're doing. Solve the problems you see fit to be solved.

My guess is that you have a pretty good support network and you'll brush this whole thing off soon enough. However the next time you are one key-stroke away from submitting another project to GitHub, and you are given pause due to this whole fiasco, I say charge forward and submit. I look forward to seeing your contribution to the community. Just as I look forward to any contribution from anyone across the globe.

An Amaz-ing Resume 13 years ago

This comment made my morning. Thank goodness no one was around 'cause I snorted/laughed and nearly spewed coffee onto my keyboard...I guess you had to be there.
