I would say that as an example, in most European countries the relationship between police and citizens is a lot more civilized. But them again this is my impression not sure if it's based on facts. I would sure consider this if I was planing to travel to the US.

Probably not really related but to me that update is stuck at 0KB. I wonder if it has anything to do me having changed country in the middle of the process.
What about java software running in the browser with unsecure certificates and full access to the system harddrive? because that's what we have in Portugal to fill taxes.
Afaik arduino has a sleep mode that uses almost no battery. so depending how how frequently you want it to call home it can last a really long time.
I guess having a link to share and the "own your own data"
it dos use the files as the database right? I like it. The text is a little too big for my taste. I might actually use.
I'm far from having any real legal knowledge on the matter, but I suppose copying the look and feel is different from looking so much the same that people might miss that they are two different projects. There are probably also some difuse border between look and feel and branding.
Or you can take the "for whom the bell tolls approach"
They almost lost me with the location selection... The world is a big place to only show 5 or 6 cities. then they lost me with that sequence of anonymous > please register. How's this even anonymous? either they are not linking the previous step to this one so there's no point in registering or they are lying about the anonymous part.
in the command line all unixes/linuxes Are pretty much the same. Personally I only run linux on VPSes and ocasonally in a raspberry pi for fun. Always only using the command line. so for distros anything really, ubuntu, debian, arch, centos, puppy... . for shell session tmux or screen.
the idea is interesting, but I guess it need to be better designed. the ui does not look that good
ups... on the faq "Does GitKraken support GitHub Enterprise/Bitbucket Server?
GitKraken currently does not support these services but support is planned for a future release."I'm not sure but they describe it as a git client, not a github client so I guess you can hook it up to whatever you please.
is this new? I have them for more then a month.
With retina displays what I personally found out was that having a retina display made my secundary screen partly useless, I just split the screen in half. Recently I also switched from atom to neovim and navigating files via text input, moving the importance of the screen from the "input part" to the "confirm action after input part". If my code got better... I would say screen size would be my worst possible excuse. :)
Found Picnic css the other day and I'm just waiting for the right excuse to use it. http://www.picnicss.com/
I was once a fan of mind maps but then stoped using them. I guess my mind evolved to some other way of organization but I always tought this kind of tool could be interesting. One thing though mind maps almost always make me grind my teeth is how most applications Have such poor defaults in terms of aestethics.
Would love to see what plugins are available. Would greatly help assess if fisherman is worth it.
love the simplicity put in this little tool. Incredibly easy to remember, gives the answer you need 95% of the times, makes it very easy to contribute with new stuff.
Raspberry pi Zero can now use a single usb connection with an host computer and act as any kind of usb device. There's a lot of possibilites here.
seems the edit document is not implemented yet. Other than that would start using this today. great little project.
I believe gmail caches all the images so that leaves out a huge amount of the world maiboxes.

Pretty crazy little board.
I once used sikuli to extract a table from a pdf. Pretty funny way of hacking a fast solution for a problem. It's a pretty powerful tool but not very stable. IDE is also not so exciting but gets the job done. Pretty excited to see how far this project will go.
Left handed people do exist in the world. Forcing wasd is not a good idea
interesting. To bad it does not update on drag.
